Some of the older episodes Arirang has put up on their RUclips channel have full subtitles for when the MCs and guests speak Korean; they did it for several of the episodes that aired prior to this in 2015-2016.

I think its a boy thing in general, we love to eat haha! but you're right a lotta idol groups starve and go on extreme diets to lose or maintain weight its very unhealthy! They attempt to eat whatever they are given when its live so it comes across as them eating healthy! of course there are some labels and managements that do treat their idols well but its rare. Usually rookie groups get treated relatively badly until they start having success!
Weight/appearance restrictions for K-Pop idols are...extreme, quite often. As mentioned, a lot of idols are put on crazy diets even when by western standards, they are already fairly thin and fit. For example, IU was infamously given a daily menu of 1 apple, 1 sweet potato, and 1 protein shake, and that's all she ate *for the whole day.* IOI Somi's daily diet consisted of *only 3 bananas.* Combine that with endless schedules, and that's the reason idols are always hungry: they either cannot or do not eat regularly the way a normal person would. Granted male idols have it somewhat easier than females with regards to their weight, but not by much. They are always genuinely hungry.
Jenna Vergauwen previous comments are true but another factor is that meat, especially beef, is more expensive in Korea so it's considered more of a treat, like lobster might be in the US. I think. I'm sure they're all very hungry as well, it makes me mad at their managers to see.
