Hy. Liked your video about the setup of this table saw model. Maybe you cold do one about the instalation and position of the fence four this table saw, becouse a lot of people complain about haw hard is to instal and use it. Great video !
Hello! I have been busy for the past month using this saw a lot. It is hard to use the fence indeed! I got a comment about how dangerous it is to cross cut (even though I used the cross cut handle provided by Makita) and I have been using the fence to corss cut lately to make it safer for me. I will try to make a new video with the fence installation but I think I will just build a sled and show a way to modify this table for more carpentry work! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Hi, isn’t the fence too short with a lot of play on this ? I’m tempted to buy one but the fence is putting me off as I want it for framing, the fence on the evolution rage 5s looks much better
Hello there! Yes you are absolutely correct, there's a lot of play, and you always have to adjust the fence or add a different DIY fence for better accuracy.. For professional work I'd invest to something better.
@@UnluckyLukeWoodworks just starting out with framing and budget it’s a little tight so trying to decide between the evolution rage 5s or this, I’ve got a load of aluminium extrusion from my diy cnc machine to make a bigger table and secure fence with, I’m assuming the makita will be a better cut and motor for long term over the evo ? What’s your thoughts?
@@GaryTaylorvw I just watched the review from Casual DIY on it, cause I wasn't aware of the brand. Honestly, it looks like a lot easier than the Makita. Setting up and moving it from jobsite to jobsite, the Evo looks ideal, whereas the Makita is a heavy beast and standard size. But as you mentioned, the Makita will probably last forever. If you're starting and the Evo is half the price of the Makita, then I'd try that one for a couple of years and save up to a better brand.
Hello, while using this machine, can you recommend it for a home workshop purchase? It has sufficient accuracy, given that it is a construction saw and not a carpentry saw, and does it need to be improved? Also, have you had experience with Einhell TC-TS 2031U?
Hello, thanks for stopping by! I can't say about that certain model from Einhell cause it's the first time I've seen it now that you told me about it. Looks pretty much the same as the Makita, with the same Max cutting height. From my experience with the Makita I can tell you that it is a very powerful machine and very reliable. On the downside, it is a little bit rough and needs a lot of modifications if you are looking for accuracy and speed. I have had a few problems getting a straight cut and after a lot of fine tuning I managed to achieve better results. If you are looking for something more 'user friendly' I would suggest a table saw with integrated t-tracks on it's table. If you decide on the Makita though, be sure that quality and power of this machine is top notch. I hope I helped you, if you need more info I'm happy to help! Cheers
Hello! I liked the video. I want to buy this saw. If it's not a secret, what changes have you made to the design to improve the quality of the cut? If possible, take a video. Should I buy this saw? Jewel cutting accuracy on wood is not needed. Expose another video about your work on the saw. Thank. Greetings from Ukraine.
Hello there! Thanks for commenting, I will be doing a set of videos with this saw as it seems that a lot of people have questions about it. I am still waiting for some parts I ordered from Amazon to modify it but I will try to make a small video at the end of this week with the fence setup. Please take a look at my IKEA Hack video were you can see the level of precision when cutting good quality pine wood. At the moment I haven't made any modifications, only some fine tuning with the leveling of the saw blade and the fence. Keep an eye on my channel for more videos! Thanks for stopping by! ☺️
@@UnluckyLukeWoodworks I think it would be good to make the mdf table and the plate to the garbage. use it as a module to make a bigger table. it has good blade size and power
@@AlexanderCB1982 I have a lot of things planned! 😉 Check my channel for updates! The table is already cut down and made into a moving workstation and I'm slowly fixing the garage! Thank you for taking the time to recommend new builds! Have a good one!
@@UnluckyLukeWoodworks I might buy it, I need a cheap but accurate table saw. this is a good one to make a bigger one by swapping the steel table for a very straight one. thanks, now I subscribe.
I never had much problem with the power to be honest! You have to be patient and work with the RPM of the blade! It is not ultra accurate and it needs good setup before cutting but a good table saw overall!

Muy malo el producto para ser tan caro no tiene la calidad de Makita falta potencia al motor y sus ascesorios no son muy eficazes
