Lobsters and Lighthouses | Portland, Maine

This week we wrap up our New England road trip with a stop in Portland, Maine. Portland is our 25th state, half way to seeing every single state in the US.
We started our day at the Portland Head Light, the oldest Lighthouse in Maine, and the most photographed in the entire US.
The next day we set out on Lucky Catch Lobster Cruise to see what it takes to be a lobster fisherman.
We stayed at the Higgins Beach Inn in Scarborough right on the Ocean.

I live in Florida now but grew up about 2 hours from Portland. Lobstering on Lucky Catch Cruises looks like so much fun. Will have to try that!
