Ya cuando abandon la agrupacion se mudo a Mexico a comenzar su carrera de actor la cual triunfo tbn sus primeros cd's como solista. El habla espanol pq es el idioma oficial aqui en PUR siendo el ingles su idioma secundario.

que muchos bobos hay aquí, acaso no saben quienes fueron "Menudo" la agrupación juvenil latina más grande de la historia y creada en Puerto Rico.Y Puerto Rico aunque es un Estado Libre Asociado con los Estados Unidos pero su lengua oficial es el español por la herencia y cultura española ya que Puerto Rico antes de Estados Unidos estuvo bajo el régimen de España y el inglés aunque se enseña en la escuela es idioma secundario y no todos lo hablan correctamente o lo aprendieron perfectamente,todo depende del interés que les hayan prestado.

Umm I am able to translate English into Spanish at a similar speed while reading a text although I do believe he was just reading it in Spanish. It isn't as hard as it seems once you truly master both languages.

I'm Puerto Rican and I have met many Puerto Ricans that don't speak the way I'm assuming you're referring to (I know how to pronounce rr). The way he spoke has a Puerto Rican accent but is less pronounced because he spoke by enunciating every word. Meaning some of the strong features of the Puerto Rican accent (dropping of consonants like s and d, and the pronunciation of rr as almost English h) are almost absent.
O pls! That is his accent . Ricky speaks a very good spanish . He always sounds the r, l, s properly when he talks and when he sings. Also when he sings his "t " sound is the same as when he read.
Remember that when you are reading your pronunciation is better .

Truth is Castilian (Catalan/Aragones/Galician are also Spanish languages) is actually an evolved formed of Latin ... So, the host is actually a bit more accurate than the people calling it Spanish. #trustmeimalinguist

I just want to point out that though technically incorrect, in Australian English, one could colloquially refer to the South American Spanish accents as Latin Spanish. They may be some of the thickest radio presenters in the country, but they don't actually believe that Ricky Martin speaks the language of the Roman Empire. They're well aware it's Spanish from South America.

Spanish from Puerto Rico, the Caribbean. Our Spanish differs some from that of Latin Americans (South and Central America), specially when it comes to word meaning. And yes, Latin Spanish is very incorrect. Saying just Spanish will let you avoid excluding other places where it's used. (Kinda rubs me the wrong way to hear it's from South America, not because I don't like South America, but I'm sure they don't like their Spanish to be confused with any other.)
