I soon figured no one from my eyes was going to call n was a tare away in my teens pay back now I watched a little and its OK white cells you will go to was stronger than I remember lol done memories over a few generations
This is nice! I watched every episode when I was a kid, which gave me huge interest in human physiology and life science. I'm a intern physician now and still these are impressive cartoon videos!
I remember watching this when I was a kid. Between the two main groups of villains viruses always had me more worried than bacteria. Despite being smaller, they seemed more sharp, ruthless and more prone to cause serious actual danger.
its a shame they dont make cartoons educational like this anymore.. for its content nothing else has ever come close my brother had all the "how my body works" books which came with different body part each issue.. to build your very own model skeleton with organ, etc ... big thank you for posting this.. WE ABSOLUTELY❤THESE.... i think this cartoon is french originally ?
I know! I remember in college during A and P when videos like this would have been very helpful. I got more out of this series than I did from college anatomy class!
at last I found this, wasn't common; at least here in turkey! remembering the times that I used to watch that I found educative and fascinating. you are not able to find such good cartoons these days, this is no good for kids I guess. thanks for sharing tho.
I Think Like The The Real life Human Body,The Cartoon Is So Good But First Time I Saw That There's A School Which Makes The Cartoon Even More Fun To Watch,I'm 7 Yrs Old And That's The Best Animation Of Human Body EVER!!😲😊
5:14 bacteria does not cause chicken pox. Chicken pox is a viral illness caused by varicella virus. You can get bacterial superinfection of the blisters however, mostly caused by staph aureus.
Correct, but I suspect it's an English dubbing mistake. I'm Spaniard, and the Spanish version I think was closer to the original French of the show. They mention as bacterial illnesses "Whooping cough, Diphtheria, Tuberculosis, Meningitis and many other". I've tried the original French version trying to grasp the same, but he talks specially fast in that part and I can't get it. Somebody knows French and can list the bacterial illnesses mentioned, please? Video of the episode below: ruclips.net/video/BQkQMxp07N4/видео.html Best!
@11krage Hello! I don't know if Procidis has a Characters' Bible of the series, that would be the best source of what are you looking for. Anyway, the Wikipedia article about "Once Upon a Time... Life" has some explanations about phagocytes characters. To sum this up: Foot-patrol policemen -> Neutrophil granulocytes Yellow "frog head" vehicles -> Macrophages Big spherical crafts with tubes -> Unknown macrophage (Monocytes perhaps?) Hope this helps. Best!
politicians concerned with educational reform should take note of this. it may be seen as very childish (hey, it is, i'm not claiming otherwise), but so much more fulfilling. if one really wants to give this a serious go, perhaps academics should be convinced to make studies on this subject (for example, one study group leans the material through cartoons while the other does so through conventional text books, comparing their performance afterwards). if that'd work, politicians could be next
i also missed that days my daily schedule was watching tsubasa that pushes me to play football also this one that was a passion for studying medicine i feel sorry for this generation the only thing that they learn is fighting and killling and bullying i can not see any educational cartoon these days im 100 percet agree with you.
@@kiarashahdnov1042 It's been the same in our generation as well(fighting, killing, bullying), we just didn't pay attention to it. Whenever humans are involved, you'll find those three things regardless of the generation's number.
Is there any kind of resource for this series that names and pictures which of the cartoons represents which. Particually the different types of white blood cells. It looks like all the lymphocytes are different types of ships, but how about the phagocytes?
Once upon a time was the best way to tell about history and the human body. Too bad they stopped. Why why family and the magic schoolbus were also learning cartoons. Even those stopped. : /
You miss the following; monocytes, eoinophils, mast cells, natural killer cells. You have the following: t lymphocytes b lymphocytes neutrophils/poly nucleus macrophages basophils

They indeed are, and the absolute worst of them are the Bacteriophages, for the bacteria that is.
I used to watch these as a kid and developed an interest in science so nostalgic

Glad you liked it :-)

love this! remember this more than what my teachers were saying lol
This actually taught me a lot as a kid , the space version wasn’t as good as this
What's wrong with the space version?
Why can't this be reinvented and put on TV for kids
Because of trans shit. And also antibodies would be considered xenophobic.

Literally thought about this yesterday ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Also bacteria and viruses don't infect us out of malice(like it's implied at the start), but to survive and reproduce.
I remember watching this in school when i was young.

I think it's French the original one.
What is the character names??
