What wiring should I follow if I have two sets of photo eyes. Can I just land them the same on the terminal in the manual or do they need to be wires in series. Do you have a schematic for this ?
Great video. Thank you. We just finished setting up two sets of swing gates. Now we want to connect them to our Control4 home automation system so we can trigger the gates to open and close remotely. We also want to know the status of the gate so we can tell remotely if it’s open or shut. To control the gate I’m pretty sure we connect our wires to 60&61, and there’s some programming. My questions are: what is the programming and where do I connect my wires to get feedback on the gate status? Thank you. Rick
Thank you! You are correct, you can connect to 60-61 and make it a two way "Start" Command or make 60-61 your "open" command and 60-62 your "closed" command. You can find that in the "Logic" menu under IC1 and IC2. As far as a gate status, the best I can think of is hooking up to 26-27 and also going into the "logic" menu and change AUX3 to the number 8. That will change that relay to maglock making the contact close when gates are closed and open as soon as the gates start moving in the open direction. Hope this helps. You can wire 1 pair of eyes to 72 (safe 1) and the other eye to 74 (safe 3)
