    Chad had more freedom & leeway in the offense in Cincinnati but in New England everyone had to play a specific role. You play within the system of the offense.

      @@cremdeniro237 winning a superbowl is a team accomplishment. It’s pretty common for elite athletes to freestyle on offense & defense across all sports. Chad not winning a superbowl does not diminish his accomplishments as a player. LT for the giants routinely went against the play calls of Bill Belichick & Bill Parcels because of his elite abilities of playing, reacting, & reading the offense. LT won several superbowls, sack titles, & defensive player of the year awards. Chad has not always played on the most talented and well coached teams for the majority of his career.

    There were many stories that year that Chad didn't grasp or understand the playbook . He often looked lost and confused. Totally a different level from the team in Cincy to New England

      Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson, Randy Moss, and Calvin Johnson are a few who just weren't built to be champions. Looking back on them now, you could see it in some of them, especially with Barry. He's got the most meaningless yards in football history. All that running and nothing to show for it.

      There's different levels of discipline. You have light discipline and then you have the extreme side of discipline..... The new england patriots were the extreme side of discipline...

    Chad needed a full offseason and more time to get acclimated. I believe that talent and intelligence translate and he has both. If he’d have played another year there, he’d have been a key piece of the Pats offense and they probably win SB 47.

    Some players play for stats and the " contract " Other players sacrifice stats for good of TEAM.
    Unfortunately in our culture the public has heard of the Ocho's, James Hardins & Jeff George's.
    These and many more I'm quite sure don't have the respect of any former teammates and I'm posit they don't have a ring.

    First, Moss wasn’t cut, he was traded. Second it happened three years after the 23 touchdowns. Not the next season. That was in 2007, he was traded in 2010. Seriously, Chad needs to look shit up before he talks. Third, this spiel that he’s always the victim is pathetic
