    I feel like Orson and the gang treated Wade like an utter piece of crap in this episode.
    Makes me feel bad for him, just like how it made me feel bad for him in "Quack to the Future" when Orson yelled at him.

      Fun fact: I was gonna write a US Acres/Garfield and Friends tornado AU where both of them meet up together, and same with Jon Arbuckle's parents are along and also don't worry Lyman is in this AU, but Nermal, Odie, and Garfield talk like if it was in the garfield show.

      @@HiddenAcresClips it is as it treats the world as BETTER without Timmy even though it makes no sense for how the other characters lives would be better, here while nothing is different they didnt make the characters live like high pedigree animals , the moral in FOP is also messed up saying you should do good deeds without expecting a thank you and the person is an ungratful prick , US Acres moral wasmt terrible the kind that is bad on very impersonate children . It should be said that Butch hated Wishful life .

    I actually liked it, there are too many episodes that feel like stories for pre-schoolers, it's pretty fun to have one that's just plain mean spirited, and none of the characters learning anything just adds to the irony of it, the dark humor with wade almost jumping off a bridge was also daring considering how bouncy and upbeat the show usually is, and it actually works because that it still doesn't change the fact that this show is bouncy and upbeat, this is just a one-off episode that if you removed it, it wouldn't add or take away anything important from the series, all of the other episodes are good let them have their fun with this one, even the best writers can't be amazing all the time.

    • @HiddenAcresClips
      @HiddenAcresClips  3 месяца назад +1

      There are also episodes which do that same thing without dark humor. There are even episodes like Kiddie Korner which make fun of CBS trying to generalize the audience. The showrunners clearly had numerous options at their disposal to make fun of all kinds of media, this just wasn't it. Even episodes from other shows (like 'A Wishful Life' from the Fairly Oddparents) that have taken this approach weren't popular with their audience because suddenly turning a fan-favorite character into a punching bag is not in any way funny, it's just sad.

    I view The Man in the Moutain to be worser as here Wade manged to get a happy ending and along with Orson make the pig brothers wet and blasted off. In Man in the Moutain Gort takes over Wades room in the farm and by the end he still has it while Wade gets scammed by the so called Wise Duck in the moutain. At least Wade wasn't being screwed over by his guardian angel nor lost his own room
