Our Commitment to Community

Inspired by the poem New Colossus by Emma Lazarus, the team at KPC Buddhist Relief is committed to providing refuge to those in need. Whether we are supply over 16,000lbs of food to our partners all over Montgomery County, Maryland, or providing clothing and other essential supplies to the homeless, connecting and coordinating with our partners to meet needs that are unaddressed by other organizations, we will be there.
Join us in embracing our shared humanity with those less fortunate, become a Friend of KPC Buddhist Relief, and know your donation will be utilized to provide essential food and items necessary for daily living within days. We coordinate directly with our partner organizations to determine what their immediate needs are each week, and procure the requested items for immediate use by our partners. This eliminates the need for long term storage, as well as the waste produced when donations to our partners cannot be utilized by them.
