My husband and I boated there many times when we lived nearby. WE went under the old London Bridge alot. Some days there was a whole parade of people going in each direction, one right after the other, bumper to bumper so to speak, one time a young guy yelled out to us, Nice boat ! and we smiled and waved, it was a fun time.
@@logandoerr2051 It really is very nice here. The Snowbirds who come down here during the winter to foul up the place really make it crowded but when it hits 100 ( like now) they leave in droves til November. Nice small community, perfect to retire in.

The lamp posts on the bridge are the original ones from 1831 and made from cannons which were captured from Napoleon's army at Waterloo in 1815

We live in Knoxville, Tennessee and would like to move there but need, help, means, money, transportation, etc...

We don't have a boat,jetskis, anything like that and we like it here. Came to escape the craziness,the hate, the crappy roads, cold weather etc.....
