In Multidisciplinary approach, each disciplines retains its own uniqueness. No integration between these disciplines is expected in a multidisciplinary approach. Multidisciplinary approach is like a bowl of mixed fruit, each fruit represent a single discipline.

Multidisciplinary refers to a combination of various disciplines as Independent and separate component of learning which allows students to work within discipline specific parameters and attain discipline specific goals.
Multidisciplinary approach is basically a process that brings together several separate discipline to address a single object from their different perspectives.
It does not to disturb the disciplines as such but ask them to address the same issue from their different and already constituted intellectual stanzas, with the anticipation that this will provide a richer analysis, adding insights that could not br generated from the application of just a single discipline.
Content matter gathered from different discipline may retain their distinct identities but will help the learner get a more comprehensive view of the topic of study. It refers to the involvement of several different professional areas, though not necessarily in an integrated manner.
It helps the students to develop a new awareness of the meaning connections that exist among the disciplines.
