I love the customization of the zord a and figures . Glad they came out with the multipack I will be picking that up eventually. That is smart that they came out with the 5 pack of the movie zords. That will sell out like crazy for people wanting all 5 at once
Another thing that can really help certain megawords is going over them with a flat or satin topcoat which causes them to more resemble the actual mech suits.

I've been on the fence on whether or not I wanted to buy any of those stands because I wasn't sure if they'd look good on them but seeing them here I think they'd look good next to my ranger keys and Dino chargers. Also I can testify to not using a sharpie for painting your zords. It works but dust really likes to stick to sharpie paint and it just doesn't really look good lol Anyway as always big fan, love how much fun you have in your videos and I totally agree about what you said about thinking of the American zords like model kits.

Have you tried Panel Washing yet? I think you did something similar. I was just wondering on some of the figures is all. BTW Glad to see you using gundam markers. I love using them but hate the prices. I have a couple of sets of the markers. I even have the thin gundam sets. I mainly use them for my gundam models, but I find uses from them elsewhere. My tool kit is gundam markers, sharpies, multi blades knife for models, tape, & water base acrylic paint. The water base paint is from Wallyworld, but you can paint it on and wipe it off leaving you nice detail, trade secret. I wish they would make in eith BOA or BOJ Zords that we can build as models. I think the would be so fun to do in the modeling hobby.

It didn't take much! The trailer is 30 short seconds long. During that time you're seeing a lot of Japanese footage, and titles. What exactly got spoiled...? "Coming in 2017, five rangers will stand side by side before they attack a monster! And they have Zords!" That's about it....
I'm not sure I follow. Ninninger aired and concluded a year ago already. Everybody knows what Zords to expect on TV, and what toys we'll be seeing in stores. Even kids these days follow Sentai. That's no more a spoiler than finding out a monster blows up. They really showed very little, none of which should come as a surprise to anyone. Nothing was spoiled here.

Hey Bruno need some advice. I have watched your tutorial videos on how to paint figures etc... and I have decided to try repainting the legacy gold ranger. I was wondering if the gundam markers dry and doesnt leave the figure sticky... I have tried using other pens like it and they all ended up with the paint smearing and being very sticky at the end. If the gundam markers do leave the figure sticky etc... Do the spray paints leave the figures sticky? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wasn't excited until I finished watching Ninninger (roughly 2 weeks ago) This is the first time that I watched the Sentai version before the american version aired I watched Dino Charge and then Kyoryuger and I liked both. But I can understand that some people say that Dino Charge was lame if they watched Kyoryuger before I hope that I won't be disappointed by Ninja Steel :-) Ninninger is such a good Sentai season so I expect Ninja Steel to be awesome too. I like the suits, the zords, the power up mode, just everything but I really liked that most of the episodes were funny and still quite exciting So I'm curious to see what Power Rangers is going to make out of that. With the upcomming 25th anniversary of Power Rangers in 2018 this season has to be one of the better ones (I hope) Hey Bruno, do you think that Zyuohger is going to be the next american season ? I'm perfectly okay with them leaving off some paint in the details. that's easily enough fixed. but I really don't like how much they simplified the megazord over the ninninger version.
Innocent_Bystander Well, of the simplified version critters, so far the best have been MMPR 2010 (which gave rise to the Legacy zord line), Megaforce (where despite questionable changes like making bikes out of the Knight Brothers and NOT having compatible Miracle Headders for Goseiultimate, they didn't really do too much damage to the Goseiger mecha design language), & Dinocharge (where Titanocharge Megazord was really the only dropped ball). Samurai screwed it up by taking away the emblem modes for four of the five Samurai Megazord critters (Turtle was pretty much already there so they couldn't take it), nerfing the Bullzord's ox cart mode, and changing Kyouryuumaru from a Spin Sword retool into that...thing. Super Megaforce's fails were the Red Lion (especially the Shinkenger/Samurai Mode) & "Ninjazord" (shouldn't it have been MINIZORD like wtf Fuuraimaru was called in Ninja Storm!?).
Do you have any tips for people who want to fix the paint on the lightning collection figures such as: visors, the mouth part of the helmet, and the weapon accessories?

Bruno, will any of these paint work in patching up my Zords? The reason I ask is because the Gold Paint on my Legacy Falconzord's Chest Piece is starting to flake off from rubbing against the back of my Legacy Ninja Megazord.

Will you be doing a black wash for the movie Alpha and Rita's? They to me look like they need to be a little darker. And how did you get the gold lining down on the Ripcord figure's jacket? I thought the gold gundam marker would be a bit to big and spill onto other parts of it? One last thing to ask, was that a black sharpie you were using on the handle of the ninja steel sword, won't that rub off onto the figures hand? (I used sharpie markers for coloring the RPM weapons, let them dry and still have some color rub off on blue's hand from his lion blaster). Nice job on the stuff by the way.
Thanks! All Gundam, no sharpie. I'm kinda dyin' to do some movie-painting. Haven't decided if I'm going to wait to see the movie first or not. I got lucky getting those figures when I did. No store has put them out yet. I want to at least have an extra before I do any modifying. The jacket was the same gold marker, very carefully... hehe
MMPRtoys with how early the figures are appearing for the movie I double you'll have any problems finding doubles for Alpha of Rita. ;) and really good job then with that gold gundam, mine tends to run a little heavy even when being careful.
The toys I spray painted or airbrushed in the 90s look the same. Wash 'em if needed. I'm sure some paint or markers can rub off depending on what you use or how you do it, but you can always re-touch if needed. Have you seen the Pyramidas that's in my display room? I did that in the late 90s.
I've already heard all of the complaints, but really, I'm fairly easy to please and have realistic expectations for Power Rangers. What I saw looked good. If the show is like that, I'm really going to enjoy it. Hopefully they'll do a good job, and not start out well, and then end up with a ton of filler and rush another bizarre ending. That little clip has me very excited for this season.
I hope the same thing and I wonder if all the Rangers will be from space or its just red that and if the robot guy that is with him will be the red zord. But the clip reminded me of in space a little bit. But I'm look forward to this season the past few season I've not been a big fan of.
i've always wanted to black wash a figure, but i'm super afraid i'll ruin it. i picked up 2017 Movie Blue 5" the other day and love it, but think the armor could use a black wash. i am, by no means, a good painter :)

Do you mean what do I think about Saban producing a totally original PR series with nothing from Japan? I think the cost of such a thing would prevent it from ever happening. The cost of creating a single monster suit is insane. The amount of stuff that needs to be created for one season is hard to comprehend. That's one of a zillion reasons I don't see it happening.

Michelle Alvarenga i'd recommend the Dino charge power packs if he is a fan of Dino charge maybe you can get some online and the Dino charge morpher that you can put the chargers in The legacy toys are so cool they have diecast metal toys but they're pretty expensive have you ever heard of super sentai there were power rangers were adapted from and there's some pretty neat toys from there too but they're in Japanese and pretty detailed the movie toys are cool ninja steel toys are cool and those are some of my suggestions and I hope your nephew gets better prayers for you

Make a custom kyoryuger gun with gundam markers MMPRToys with your Dino charger morpher
For a true gold color try coating silver color paint and coat over with clear yellow.

For what it's worth, I use surgical tape instead of masking tape. More flexible, so easier to apply.

I got one question, if the US Power Stars can't go on the Megazord like the JAP Shurikens, why are they molded with small holes on the face plate?

Will you be doing a black wash for the movie Alpha and Rita's? They to me look like they need to be a little darker. And how did you get the gold lining down on the Ripcord figure's jacket? I thought the gold gundam marker would be a bit to big and spill onto other parts of it? One last thing to ask, was that a black sharpie you were using on the handle of the ninja steel sword, won't that rub off onto the figures hand? (I used sharpie markers for coloring the RPM weapons, let them dry and still have some color rub off on blue's hand from his lion blaster). Nice job on the stuff by the way.
Thanks! All Gundam, no sharpie. I'm kinda dyin' to do some movie-painting. Haven't decided if I'm going to wait to see the movie first or not. I got lucky getting those figures when I did. No store has put them out yet. I want to at least have an extra before I do any modifying. The jacket was the same gold marker, very carefully... hehe
MMPRtoys with how early the figures are appearing for the movie I double you'll have any problems finding doubles for Alpha of Rita. ;) and really good job then with that gold gundam, mine tends to run a little heavy even when being careful.

how long would this paint job last? would you able to clean your painted toys if they get dirty?
The toys I spray painted or airbrushed in the 90s look the same. Wash 'em if needed. I'm sure some paint or markers can rub off depending on what you use or how you do it, but you can always re-touch if needed. Have you seen the Pyramidas that's in my display room? I did that in the late 90s.

I kinda look forward to this season since I saw a sneak peek of the first episode today.
I've already heard all of the complaints, but really, I'm fairly easy to please and have realistic expectations for Power Rangers. What I saw looked good. If the show is like that, I'm really going to enjoy it. Hopefully they'll do a good job, and not start out well, and then end up with a ton of filler and rush another bizarre ending. That little clip has me very excited for this season.
I hope the same thing and I wonder if all the Rangers will be from space or its just red that and if the robot guy that is with him will be the red zord. But the clip reminded me of in space a little bit. But I'm look forward to this season the past few season I've not been a big fan of.

i've always wanted to black wash a figure, but i'm super afraid i'll ruin it. i picked up 2017 Movie Blue 5" the other day and love it, but think the armor could use a black wash. i am, by no means, a good painter :)
It's pretty easy. Do you ever buy any of those bike figures that have zero paint on them? They'd be good for practicing.

Do you mean what do I think about Saban producing a totally original PR series with nothing from Japan? I think the cost of such a thing would prevent it from ever happening. The cost of creating a single monster suit is insane. The amount of stuff that needs to be created for one season is hard to comprehend. That's one of a zillion reasons I don't see it happening.
Hello. Big fans of your show. My nephew watches all day everyday. He's got cancer and all he can do is watch TV so he's the biggest fan. He's doing Make a Wish now and needs a specific list of all the zords ... megazords .... keys ... and chargers.. also anything cool that's related to Power Rangers that you can come up with to send to make a wish foundation for him to get. Michelle Alvarenga i'd recommend the Dino charge power packs if he is a fan of Dino charge maybe you can get some online and the Dino charge morpher that you can put the chargers in The legacy toys are so cool they have diecast metal toys but they're pretty expensive have you ever heard of super sentai there were power rangers were adapted from and there's some pretty neat toys from there too but they're in Japanese and pretty detailed the movie toys are cool ninja steel toys are cool and those are some of my suggestions and I hope your nephew gets better prayers for you
