France is actually lovely. We have friends who are Algerian-French who live there despite challenges (where are there not challenges) there are many masjid and halal restaurants.
May allah keep them strong and plentiful. 20% of that country is Muslim, we need them.

My understanding of the expansion of Islam is that rather than the European colonization model of railroading those being colonized by trying to remove their culture, language and religions forcefully, Muslims retained culture and language and invited others to Islam with a pious example. But maintaining law and order with Islamic principles.

As salaamu alaikum. Sorry I’m posting late and I hope you see this comment. As you were discussing Sadiq Khan I was reminded about the lack of an Islamic political platform. Is there any movement for developing one ? It is the foundation for being able to do candidate report cards such as you mentioned, and to putting pressure on candidates to take positions that we can support.
