Honestly I think overlook alot of things which show saitama isn't even that strong such as all of his foes being either building level to city level (with boros, gauro and G.O.D being the exception) while saitama is alot stronger than them so he clearly will one shot them due to the gap in their power. Next people believe he fought "God" without reading what's actually said, when the "God" he fought isn't a real god but it's the code name for a race of aliens/monsters who danger level goes beyond that of a god level threat which is stated in the manga specifically so he never fought a real god just a alien/monster who danger level is above a god level threat which the code name G.O.D was given to those beings

Goku fought on almost equal terms with beerus in just super saiyan god form, ultra instinct is stronger than beerus unless he also uses ultra instinct. So, by that logic, goku should be able to kill saitama with, ironically, one punch.

I don't deny that Saitama can beat Goku, (he might be able to, we've yet to see his limit yet), but the stuff Saitama's done pales in comparison to Goku. Saitama at most has only negated a planet level attack. Goku beat final form Frieza (his first form was already planet level +) a long time ago, with imperfect Super Saiyan. So I doubt Saitama could beat Goku. He might be able to, but I think it's unlikely.

Lets use logic
Saitama with one serious punch could easily defeat a character like boros, who can whipe out the whole surface of the earth, but not destroy the earth. Characters like vegeta at the start of Z could destroy planets from its core already, so boros is weaker than a vegeta in his first appearance. If saitama with his maximun power could defeat boros with one hit, but he didnt kill him (though he almost did) so i think he could defeat vegeta with a relative ease. And by taking these facts, even ginyu could defeat saitama in a really heated battle, but any warrior (except yamcha maybe) from the saga of the androids to the end of z and super can easily defeat saitama, knowing that even krilin is considered a galactic lvl character who can destroy planets easily with his full power

To the people saying "Goku would easily beat him in X form" I'll say only this:
Saitama was made to be a joke character, pitting him against anyone is unfair because he would win with just one punch, a few more if they were stronger than the average fighter (Like Boros in OPM and Goku). I'm not saying Saitama is a better character, I like Goku far more than Saitama, and I think Goku is leagues better in terms of character, but to be biased and say Goku can win very easily is just wrong.

everyone is saying who is stronger but if we were for real we all know saitama is a character made to be undefeated and everybody talks about goku super saiyan blue and stronger could easily beat saitama. But none of us have ever seen saitama even fight with at least 20% of what he can do because everybody is already dead. Sure saitama did a serious punch against boros but that wasn't even his strongest punch and he was serious for like 1 second and the fight was done with a NORMAL SERIOUS PUNCH. So it still was a normal punch wich he used and he never fought anyone too actually go serious and what if he can break his limit agian just like goku does everytime or what if he doesn't even have a limit too his power.

You have to remember that while goku has been pushed to the limit saitama has never actually tried therefore you cannot rank him on his current feats alone saitama is on a whole other level though I do acknowledge goku power he actually tries most of the time ,not saitama even in hia fight with boros it is aknowlegded that he held back the whole time to have more fun

Let's be real here. UI can rival jiren:a goddamn universe level of destruction. Now let's talk about MUI. It can destroy a universe in some time. Saitama. He is a planet breaker. But the thing is. he didn't die from something that could wreck a universe.
It’s honestly very annoying to see people arguing about who’s stronger without evidence or even acknowledging opposing evidence. Saitama is extremely strong, but to say he could beat Goku at a level above ssj3 is ridiculous considering Saitama hasn’t shown feats above that of buu saga ssj3 Goku or even ssj2 Goku at that. Ssj Goku vs Saitama rn is a very good matchup but Saitama is still a relatively new character so he hasn’t shown his best currently, therefore, we cannot argue on who’s stronger until we see his max power. I’m not saying Goku is stronger indefinitely, just currently due to not having enough info on Saitama’s full strength. I will say, however, that Saitama’s “serious punch” isn’t a full power punch and also isn’t that impressive compared to Goku punching King Kai’s planet to pieces (King Kai’s planet is roughly 10x earth’s gravity on top of it being far smaller, making its density insane... for Goku to basically just about oneshot it casually in Beerus’s fight... makes him pretty strong lmao)
It really doesn't matter. The whole point of the show and the character is to ridicule other overpowered characters. To compare them is pointless and even if you were to Saitama wins, it doesn't matter who it is because that's his entire premise. He is as strong as he needs to be/wants to be.
