Listened to the past two weeks driving back and forth to the lakes in CA. You hit it out of the park two weeks in a row…thanks! Funny, one of the times I was with Taku…he said he really was tired of being the “funny guy” and got tired of it…but when you started engaging him on stage he realized the value of his humor and good nature to his brand…and just went with it. A very special dude! Nothing more touching than the FaceTime he does with his family, sitting in his boat before take-off each morning.

I fished the event Clunn won at the St Lawrence. I thought it would have been it would be his most memorable. I’ve been on Ontario a lot and can’t believe his equipment lasted, it was bad.

Rick I heard the book story before so I got that book and it's way over my head at this point .On a similiar note II drove by this barn and I felt like it spoke to me I stopped and took pictures of it during different seasons.Finnally one day I stopped and was going to walk all around the barn and photograph it from all the way around. I walked about half way to the barn when I noticed a piece of paper blowing towards me from the building. It stopped right at my feet It was a copied page of a book called The Human Division by John Scalzi a noted science fiction writer. Even before this event I kept getting a feeling that this barn was some sort of a gateway to another dimension?
Getting around to watching a bit late on this one. Watching from Hingham, Wisconsin. Love the new intro for Rick! Taku is great; dude is must watch whenever he’s on stage or screen. I’m watching this after he has won Smith! What an event! What a spot he caught on Sunday!
To add to my comment Dave; you need to watch drunk history it’s hilarious. The re-enactments are soo good as the narrator is stumbling over their words and misspeaking and correcting themselves!
As always, a great pod cast with Mr. Clunn. Good luck at Smith Lake. Take care. Fished a 8.5 hour tourney last Saturday and it was 100 degrees at weight in. Im 77 and started to feel it at the end. Sat in my trucks a/c for a bit to recover Go get them sir.

Mercer , this thing with clunn has finally arrived. It’s been slowly getting there but this episode was🔥. Mercer and clun has grown a bunch this year. This episode seemed easier and like the gloves were down. This was more like a Mercer conversation with clunn…. Finally. I’ve enjoyed clunn but it has always felt different than a Mercer conversation!

Taku Time 😂 he had to do his one and only DHL grand opening lol 10 min from me back in end of April and literally drove from smith lake pre practicing and said I will go back after this and fish this afternoon 😂 and now as I watch after day one he’s sitting in 10th lol so pre practice worked lol. But just thought it was crazy they had him come to this stores grand opening down the road from me in Georgia. But he remembered me from day 2 practice at the classic when him and Welcher talked at the ramp putting in because I filmed it lol filming for Kyle.
