I successfully succeeded to overwinter my thymes for the first time in my life and now they are in full flower mode. Do you hard prune them during flowering of wait until they end to bloom? I'm trying to remove all the flowers from my rosemary and all I get is more flowers instead of foliage. Do you have some tips to promote the leaves instead of flowers?
You might try to fertilize with more nitrogen and less potassium and phosphorus. But be careful not to overfertilize if it is a fully grown or shaped bonsai. Also, if you use grow lights, use Balanced Light Spectrum for Seeds and Greens. Not Full Spectrum Grow Light Bulb or Advanced Red Spectrum for Flowers and Fruit.

I had a German thyme and it died. I now have a French thyme and so far it's alive.

No problem outside, even at more than minus 30 degrees centigrade.
