One thing I noticed about your videos is just how polite you are, not just to customers but to restaraunt staff and other delivery drivers. It really does make such a difference to someone's day to hear someone being so friendly and polite to them, it's very refreshing
He is always always polite, I'm so friendly to drivers who come to our restaurant but they are always shouting abusive sometimes don't even come into the restaurant they just show there phone through the window. This guy is a proper gent
That speech at 18:00 minute mark. Reminds me of delivering here in the US as well. Doing the bare minimum is almost too much for most people. At one point the town I deliver in I counted in a 7 hour shift, only 2 people used bags out of 40 deliver drivers I met or saw. It was me and one other guy. I’ve always been told by my step dad, “no matter the job, even if you are shoveling shit, be the best shit shoveler you can be and do it right”. I feel like that carried me to where I am now with any job I’ve had. Thanks for the content and keep on going.
Nice to see you being so polite and professional towards the restaurant staff and customers. I’m also in the delivery industry and I’m trying to be polite professional and happy whenever I’m delivering something.
You seem so polite to everyone, only thing I have to say is that if someone requested to leave food by the door it might be mental health related. I'm autistic, and generally try to avoid socialising, if I am ordering food it is usually cause I am feeling overwhelmed and don't have energy to go shopping or cook food... Having to socialise may not seem that bad to someone who don't struggle with mental health. But to me it can be a very big deal.
I am literally sitting here on a lazy Saturday, binge watching your videos 😂….my new favourite thing! I love your positive attitude, your friendly manner and wish you all the best in everything you do ❤
Credit to you that you invest for the benefit of the customer to have hot food. Three times now on different occasions I’ve gotten the same Uber delivery guy and he literally takes my takeaway out of a tesco bag from the front seat of his car 😢 fair to you for your attention to detail and of course quality content 🙌🏻😊
I recently stumbled upon your channel and I have binged almost all your videos from the last 6 months. It really feels like a safe space watching when working from home or relaxing before night time. Keep up the good work and continue spreading the positivity.
Just started watching your channel. I’m a food courier on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It’s funny (to me) how handing people there orders is normal in London. Here, orders are almost always dropped off at the door (as requested). I don’t even knock or ring the doorbell because so many people say not to in their comments (hyper dogs, sleeping babies). But it is really nice when someone opens the door as I’m walking away and offers a “thank you” :) And it’s *really* fun when people (strangers) are super happy to see me and are saying my name.
Im Pilipino but I’m here now in japan and same like you I’m working Uber eats your the one who motivated me to do start vlogging I’ll support you all the way thank you to your videos

Idk man, I've personally never needed a brain surgeon, but I've needed to have food delivered to me countless times because if disability/accessibility. It's a job that's important enough, it matters to people, and it's good to see that you care.
Don't know if you've seen, but Google maps has an electric vehicle option for the navigation 😁 I'm currently renting an electric moped and this really helps!
I do food deliveries in Australia and sadly most drivers don't care about their jobs. No thermal bags, food or drinks missing, bad attitudes in general, so many complaints about the drivers, it maddening. Having said that the customers never leave a tip, no matter how good the service. Tight fisted here.
I'm surprised just how many customers don't greet you in a friendly way and ask how you're doing tonight etc. Just a few seconds of chat but instead they just grab their food and close the door. Peace
@@LondonEats can be goddamn heavy on the memory side haha, but that higher framerate almost made me feel like I was driving along side you on my couch! Looking forward to all your future videos!
Just subscribed, your channel was suggested by the algorithm and it's a great watch. A whole side of life that people don't see. Can I just ask one question? What sort of helmet do you wear when you're out on the electric bicycle?
If you find yourself outside of the zone when you complete a drop, you won't receive an order until you commute back to the zone. However, you may decide to switch zones so you are able to receive delivery from the new zone that you have ended up in. (In the hope of recieving an order that takes you back to your original zone). BUT, only downside to switching to zones on the same day/simultaneously means, if you decide to finish for the day and want your earnings to arrive soon with the " GET CASH" function.... You'll be paid next day and not instantly as the "GET CASH" offers. 😊
Hats off to you because I wouldn't be picking up orders from a place that makes you wait outside. It's like they need your service but give zero respect. Or am I missing something.
Nah I totally understand their point. If I was sitting in a restaurant I wouldn't' want drivers stood about around tables etc. I spoils the ambience and experience. They do need to acknowledge you in short time though I wouldn't be waiting around without knowing they have my order or not etc.
Then they shouldn’t be available for delivery orders if their image and dining in customers matter more. If you don’t have the facilities for a separate area for delivery drivers and takeaway customers then don’t advertise for it.
No. The idiots and peasants jut need to start buying proper bags or using he free ones. I suspect most of these idiots who use Asda bags are doing because hey have rented account or no valid insurance so don't want to advertise they're delivering.
It's funny to me when the delivery is at a condominium, you walk in and go all the way to the customer's door. here in my country we cannot enter condominiums (it is not a law, it is a recommendation from the delivery platform), the customer has to come to the condominium entrance to collect. and it happens every day that customers refuse to come pick up and the delivery guy keeps the food and the delivery money. I have lunch and dinner every day with food from customers who didn't want to pick up at the entrance to the condominium
I find it comical (in a sad way) that restaurants make you wait outside. Which is it, they want the business or not? What do you do if it's raining? How about they make a little space for pick-up like a normal human doing business might? So backwards...
A word to the wise from an ancient biker and ex-courier rider about weights. Every bike has to, by law, specify it's maximum carrying capacity. That will include rider. And each bike manufacturer and accessory maker will also specify the max weight the bike rack and box etc should have loaded on it. That weight for a normal bike is often not much more than 15kg or so for the rack/luggage on its own. It may be that the delivery rack and boxes have a higher weight specification, I don't know. The reason for the warning is that if you have an accident and you've been exceeding the maximum specified weight, then your insurance may not pay out and in a worst case scenario, you can even be prosecuted for riding a dangerous vehicle. So just check your weights dude. I'm sure it's all fine and you're aware of this etc, so this is also for anyone else that isn't aware - insurance co's will find any excuse not to pay out.
