That's not true. Matthew Judon is from Grand Valley State and several players are from Ferris State University. Both D2 programs, and Ferris State being a powerhouse in D2.

There were 43 D2 football players on 2023 opening day rosters and 6 from D3. When Billy says D3 football gets more coverage then D2 I am just going to assume he means coverage in his own head.
