The new map 'Grave' looks great! It's quite a tough fight to cross, though. I can't say another river-crossing map is what the game needed, but oh well... Anyway, the new adjustable tank scopes and shell types with according ballistics are great! We made good use of them in our first round already!
Nothing like speaking german while driving a Wehrmacht tank. You guys and your banter and joking while driving the tank had a certain immersion and definitely great content!
True. Thing is, since the fight is always narrowed around the same spots those maps tend to get repetitive and frustrating sometimes. I hope they are different missions on this map to get more action in the small town and swamp around it.

Best parts of the video - armoured car flies across the bridge dodging left and right towards the Tiger... driver says I'll block him, gunner says I'll hit him.. .armoured car gets closer and closer... then flies right past :)
Armor piercing with explosive filler. Flies slower than APCR and faster than HE. Does more damage to tanks than APCR and less damage to lightly armored vehicels than HE.
Armour Piercing Capped Ballistic Capped. AP is your standard AP round. The Cap element is a "cap" of softer steel to let the shell absorb the shock of hitting face-hardened armour, which might cause the AP round to shatter. The Cap however increases ballistic drag, slowing down the shot, so the Ballistic Cap is a hollow or light-weight smooth cap on top of the shell which gives it a better aerodynamic shape, thus restoring velocity.
Just read up on the wiki page. Cool bit of engineering. Simple but effective. Seems to have improved standard AP by quite a bit. Especially against the sloped armor design.

He is only 700m away?! The. Your usual tank engagements must be way shorter, at 300-400m! A Sherman firefly can easily pierce Tiger’s front glacier at 500m! I don’t feel safe this way. I will stay at least 700m away from the front line on top of a hill if I were you. Put the German gun to its accuracy test!
Vade that explains why one commander in charge of German panzer forces in France complained that the Panther is even worse than Panzer IV since it gets stuck and its armor does not help at close range. Man you and your tank crew have balls.
@@thomaszhang3101 Don't mix real life with gaming. There are a ton of differences and unaccounted factors, which apply to real life tanks and their engagements.
The game dont use real life facts or the Tiger 1 in this game wouldn't need more than 1 hit to destroy the tanks listed in this video, the squishy Sherman wasnt made to resist 88mm shots

Потому как заходит в танковое подразделение игрок, вполне справляется, он один в отделении, никто не хочет играть на танке. И тут его выкидывают из сервера, что он якобы не говорит на немецком и не достоин играть за командира танкового отделения, учитывая, что он там ОДИН. Это полная глупость. У французов на сервере подобный же бред.

Im Tiger würde ich verrückt werden, lieber eine Nummer kleiner also Panther/ Panzer IV aber dafür ein Panzer der halbwegs steuerbar ist.

I think the usual engagements are even closer, 200m maybe. Very few maps allow for long range tank engagements.
