This was a fabulous lesson. Over 2 hours long yet pared down to just under 16 minutes. Amazing. Entertaining. Memorable. (Because of the humor and the pinky promises)
you should do a podcast dude You’re an amazing teacher 75% of what I’ve learned is from you! hmm or maybe just put this series audio as a podcast?? idk how anything works
This is really helpful in learning korean. I know I can speak a little bit but I don't know which one to use when I want to say that this is what I'm doing right now. do I need to use present tense or progressive tense. This video answer all of my questions about 고 있다. Btw I'm just 14 years old😅❤️
The progressive form is an *aspect*, not a tense, because it coexists with past (was doing), present, and future (will be doing) tenses. Regardless, thank you for all the hard work you've done making these videos over the years.
The actual reason why has to do with the literal meaning of the verb 있다, but it's not really important. The fact is that 없다 doesn't make logical sense used in that way. You can either make it 안 (verb stem) + 고 있다 or (verb stem) + 고 있지 않다.
Hahaha... the intro. was so cute😆😆 나는 빌리를 보고 있다~ I loved this abridged video💓 Good luck🤞

Coming from English, it feels natural to use this tense way more than Koreans do.
Thank you so much for what you do
앉아 있어 first, I never knew we couldn't say that. Lol and two they usually use this form to say "stay seated" right?
Thank you🤗☺️
I pinky promised. Lol. Thank you very much for this lesson! :)

Can you please explain why turning 지금 안 하고 있어요
into 지금 하고 없어요 is wrong?
