This was a fabulous lesson. Over 2 hours long yet pared down to just under 16 minutes. Amazing. Entertaining. Memorable. (Because of the humor and the pinky promises)

Coming from English, it feels natural to use this tense way more than Koreans do.

앉아 있어 first, I never knew we couldn't say that. Lol and two they usually use this form to say "stay seated" right?

This is really helpful in learning korean. I know I can speak a little bit but I don't know which one to use when I want to say that this is what I'm doing right now. do I need to use present tense or progressive tense. This video answer all of my questions about 고 있다. Btw I'm just 14 years old😅❤️

The progressive form is an *aspect*, not a tense, because it coexists with past (was doing), present, and future (will be doing) tenses. Regardless, thank you for all the hard work you've done making these videos over the years.

Can you please explain why turning 지금 안 하고 있어요
into 지금 하고 없어요 is wrong?

The actual reason why has to do with the literal meaning of the verb 있다, but it's not really important. The fact is that 없다 doesn't make logical sense used in that way. You can either make it 안 (verb stem) + 고 있다 or (verb stem) + 고 있지 않다.
