Absolutely. While I have to admit that I have many time saving unsafe practices that I participate in on a regular basis, free hand sawing on a table saw is NOT one of them. However, that’s only because several years ago while doing exactly that I got the wood in a bind and it kicked back. Damn near lost my right testicle! I have a high tolerance for pain but all I could do was lay on the floor in the fetal position and whimper like a scalded puppy. Pain is an excellent educator for the cocky!
I have to agree with you Riversider. I was just going to remark how this guy indulged in several unsafe and unnecessary practices here. But. He got the chair made. Hope he learns how to safely use his equipment before he gets hurt.
You need to be very very careful and respect the tools and equipment, I have been doing hardwood floors for about 40 years, luckily I have never had an accident with power tools, I have cut my self with hand tools and utility knifes , also nail my self with air nailer for not being careful, not paying attention, so is very important to be careful
The carpenter is quite clumsy and imprecise, beyond the design flaw in terms of the strength and durability of the furniture. He shouldn't work like that.
Hey, did you hear that Woody Hyezmar is giving his collection of projects at no cost at all? Go'ogle his latest material, there's a similar project, pretty close to this one, if I'm not mistaken.
It got hard to watch so many very near catastrophic accidents, but hey I'm overly cautious to the point I only use tools with the b or blade facing down
an in depth tutorial on unsafe practices
...and what does not constitute a "sofa."
…or how to rape wood in 18 minutes.

Btw could be helpful for others if you guys can add how he SHOULD be doing those cuts in a safe way

Yes painful to watch. A video of every unsafe practice
I personally work like this no safety equipment or the likes ...it has made me extremely cautious and aware at all times

I’m surprised he still got all his 10 fingers. Please use some caution ⚠️
Pretty doggone nice!
nice idea 😮😮👍👍👍
Look, he has all his fingers and he’s not using the Saw Stop.
Hahaha
Yes, and at 6:50 to 7:10, he freehands a rip cut without an riving knife and didn’t experience kickback. Doesn’t mean it’s a good practice though.
Very nice!
Wonderful
Nice design. But man, such a sloppy work! Ruins the whole impression of the sofa.
Agree. With a little patience it could have been a nice build.
Very classy
nice job!
This seems dangerous😮
Very nice and you make it look so easy to make
It was easy

Extremely interesting agreed but definitely not easy...
Is that Skippy or Jiff you're applying before screwing?

I disagree about a riving attachment. An unnecessary pc of “osha” junk. It doesn’t hurt anything, but I consider it unnecessary.
Excellent excellent excellent fine workmanship
I wonder if they use jiffy or Peter pan
Maybe add a cushion on seat and a cushion on back?

Very nice. Great design
Bonne travaille
super Techinc
👍😍
Beware of kickback!
Get an outfield table!
Awesome, but....how dangerous @6:35! No riving knife? no fence? Wow, you're brave.
Tempting fate more like! Hope he’ll still be able to pick his nose in a a few years time…👃👈🏻

Walk Hard!
The bending was clever but the leg joints were terrible, really bad fits with big gaps, not very professional
thanks
Bem trabalhada, parabéns, muita precisão no conteúdo 👏👏👏😘😘😘😘😘. Br.
This isn't a sofa...
How do you stop the miter saw at a certain height so that it doesn't cut all the way through?
There is a depth adjuster on the saw so the blade doesn't go all the way through the timber
If the depth adjustment device is not included on the saw I’m sure with a clamp and a pc of wood you can make your own.
Pask make
😂😂
a pak to chudak proda za par dolaru aby Pier 1 to mohl prodat za stokrat tolik...
