The Apostle Paul dilemma if God's will is always prosperity how do you explain the Apostle Paul's dilemma Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
We just started our traveling ministry this year in February. We’ve taken in around $23,000 and have given almost $5,500 to others! We believe in this message and we support your ministry with our finances
“Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.” Philippians 4:15-18 KJV
Just pointing this out in clarification concerning question #14, "if you believe money is evil, why don't you get rid of it?" Well it's not the money itself that is evil, it is "the love of money that is the root of ALL evil, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10). So it is not the issue of money being evil, but it is the intent and evilness that comes from the heart when the greed and covetousness of money are entertained.
Yes this is one of the many fallacies he is teaching. The “other side” doesn’t view money as evil, but the positioning of your heart. It is the root of evil but not evil in and of itself. It’s not evil to be wealthy either but even scripture says it’s easier to fit a camel through the eye of a needle than a wealthy man to enter heaven. Mathew 19:24. No one is saying you have to get rid of money to be a good Christ follower. But you should get rid of it if your heart isn’t set on Christ Jesus and money takes the place of Jesus. But that is also with everything; Facebook, instagram, twitter, ect. But this is what false teachers like shuttleswortnh do. They tell you a fake narrative like “people against prosperity gospel want you to get rid of your money” “35 questions they can’t answer” but never having the opposing view to say -hold up we never said that, that’s not true, that’s a lie, ect. He can’t actually debate so he debates a camera that can’t argue back. He is very crafty and on the surface it sounds like Jonathan really knows what he’s talking about, but if you dig deeper it’s shallow and doesn’t hold weight.
(1) if you disagree with my interpretation of the Bible, then you reject Scripture, and (2) if you disagree with what I believe about prosperity, then you hate prosperity. That's a summary of his teaching. Logically fallacious, unbiblical, and motivated by greed, arrogance, and fear.
The more acceptable message (more acceptable than outright rejection of prosperity) that many pastors preach is moderation in all things. The scriptures Jonathan uses answer so many questions and objections. Excellent teaching fam!
Exactly, academics who brow beat other adults with stats are disliked in most spheres of work. They project their poor people skills as haters/ persecution. Dishonesty makes people angry. It happens at work, in ministry etc.
@@Truth_NarrowRd1 hey sister I’m sure we’ll see each other in heaven and we’ll all agree it’s about preaching the whole gospel message in order to save souls headed to hell and disciple brothers and sisters to do the same (the great commission). Pretty simple. Jonathan never said anything about financial gain being the most important. It just happens to be a part of the gospel that the devil hates and in the American church Buddhist and socialist philosophies infiltrated into the church and suddenly prospering is wrong. @@Truth_NarrowRd1 Jonathan is not preaching your best life now, he preaches to follow and be obedient to God... I perceive that you really don't believe what Jonathan teaches... you need to be honest...
@@Truth_NarrowRd1 If you spent any time listening to Jonathan, you'd know that he is called from God to do great things for his kingdom. Jonathan is one of the most giving humans I've ever seen. He does not put money above Jesus. He wants us all to be blessed for serving our Almighty God. I've watched many, many services, and he has never made me think people have to pay to be healed. That's nuts! People get healed when they believe God's word.
The prosperity gospel is totally wrong. Read Acts2v42-47 and Acts4v32-37. If U have surplus we are to give it to those believers who have needs. If we love the things of the world then we become spiritual prostitutes. It's only financially wealthy Christians who teach this rubbish. A Christian veneer while living the ways of the world is the best way to end up in hell. Jesus said to the rich young ruler to give it all away. The man who build barns to hold his wealth was called a fool. The apostles said silver and gold have I none etc Yes God wants us to prosper but only to give that prosperity away. This teaching is simply a way to justify living the way the world does.
You've been saying for years people "can't answer" these questions, which is simply a highlight of your arrogance and obstinance. There are volumes upon volumes written about this; you simply choose to ignore it to build your own following.
James 3:8-10 King James Version 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
It is not how you twist God's words that is alarming. You learned that lie from your father....who was with Adam in the garden. It is your arrogance that gives you away, and your love of money is on full display....I love you and your family and I will pray for you.
