+Untrapping Just make sure you actually try to revise for mocks even if you're exams are months away. I tried revising daily 4 weeks before my exams.. Didn't really work but past papers are a life saver. Hope that helps!
Untrapping I'm what my friends call 'naturally smart' so I was really lucky as I didn't revise much but got the grades. However, my friends did this and they got insanely high results. 2 months before the exams revise every subject for 5 hours each day. That's the lazy approach, otherwise, just revise by doing 1 hour of work. Lastly, gcse ain't hard, stress for a-level, not gcse

Well, I took my GCSE's a couple years ago now and I got all C's & B's and although that's not amazing, my parents were proud. In the video its pretty clear none of them really cared too much but if someone has tried their hardest but still doesn't get maybe A's and B's, then no parent should be angry or disappointed. Not everyone is capable of getting A's. If you've done your very best, how can any parent have a problem with that?

So many people hating on my results. I am proud of my results and that is all that matters. I shouldn't have to look at my comment section and see people commenting "I got 6 A *'s and the rest A's, they are so dumb" or "why are they so happy with C's". Let me clear something up, In school I wasn't the smartest person, I was always middle sets. The highest grade I could get in some subjects like Maths was a 'C' because I and many others were in 'foundation'. Yes I mentioned the fact that I didn't revise because I put everything into what I believed in which was RUclips. Your GCSE's do not define you as a person and certainly do not dictate your future, for someone like me they mean nothing because I have a full time job (RUclipsr) which means I wont be needing to go to College. People who are on it and understand how RUclips works, will understand the fact that RUclips is not just a site where you upload videos but it is a video platform which opens many doors such as TV work and a whole lot more (which I have done). So don't be someone who sits behind their screen and comments some hate and calls me 'dumb' because really you are the dumb one for commenting "RUclips wont last forever" it is owned by Google so I don't think its going anywhere anytime soon but if it was to go don't you think my management and I have back up ideas? The whole point of living is to believe and succeed and I don't believe that someone will become successful because they got straight A's I mean it has already been proven. It's a pass. It's good and something for someone to be proud of because C means that you did well. You don't have to get above a C. The average is 5A*-C including maths and English . I got 5A*-C not including maths and I'm proud of that. I'm also redoing my maths and I'm at college so hopefully once I get a C in maths I can go to uni. If you get 5A*-C including maths and English then that means you can go uni and that's good.

I thought that the geography exam was pip easy. I got an A in RE B in history B in science (1 mark off A) B in English literature B in Maths B in English language B in hospitality and catering and an A in geography

By seemingly sacrificing 95% of her life for them. While there is nothing wrong with doing that, and it will lead to great career opportunities, I can not see how, for that much effort, it is worth it. You have to live a little too.
To be fair the English exams were quite hard XD it's not just like "hey, write a story about kittens" or something. Anyone could do that. It's quite analytical, for the Literature one you have to analyse characters and themes in detail and stuff, and in Language you have to basically analyse some text, write something closely based on the text and then summarise another text. I got an A in English Lit and a B in English Language
I got a C in English and I feel very lucky to have gotten two Cs in English Lit and Language because the exams are hard as there's no real way to revise for English. I got 3 As 5 Bs and 3 Cs :)

My cousin got 11 A* and I am doing the new GCSE Program and my targets are mainly all 5s and i am currently achieving 3s. And my family thinks that I am amazing at school because my only good subject is art
Sick of reading in the comments about how degrading a C grade is and how your parents would kill you if you had that grade. Firstly, your parents should be proud no matter what you get as long as you tried your hardest and secondly some of you clearly must be uneducated because C grade is a very good pass and will get you into university. Also core subjects for example, maths, English and science are the main subjects that are wanted nowadays for jobs/careers. Also the world is changing and nowadays GCSEs aren't that big of a deal neither are A levels and yes for some career choices such as doctors you may come out of university after long years of studying and get a job striaght away as it is an in demand career but other careers are NOT in demand and therefore many people come out ( regardless of their C's or A*s ) and end up in an average job. Another thing to have to remember is some people find GCSEs challenging.
If you go to university to study a chosen field with A's or C's and both graduate and both get the same job, what you need to remember is that you will both be on the same wage therefore that just proves that you are no better than anyone else for having higher grades so get your head out of your arses you bunch of children. The majority of you are probably around 16/17 or younger and have no real life experience of what it is like getting careers and jobs. Come back in ten years and tell me how you feel then.

People are just commenting based on their schools/personal expectations. Some people are aiming for C's so are overjoyed when they get them, other people are aiming for A*'s and are devastated by anything else and cant comprehend how anyone can be happy with anything lower. Personally, I understand the second point of view more but I get that these guys were obviously aiming for C's so can see why they're happy with them but know personally, I would be devastated if I got these grades. Also you're right, GCSE's don't mean shit for university but you're wrong about A-levels. They determine what university you can go to and that will literally be the be all or end all of you. Just saying you went to Bath will get you the job over someone who went to a smaller/lower grade requirement university, even if you got a 2:1 and they got a second. It sucks, but that's how it is. I know someone who dropped out of Durham and got a job over a load of other applicants...just because he went to Durham...the interviewer went to Durham...Durham is a very well respected university. Not all jobs work like this (I didnt need mine for my job at all but a lot of them do.

Well, I took my GCSE's a couple years ago now and I got all C's & B's and although that's not amazing, my parents were proud. In the video its pretty clear none of them really cared too much but if someone has tried their hardest but still doesn't get maybe A's and B's, then no parent should be angry or disappointed. Not everyone is capable of getting A's. If you've done your very best, how can any parent have a problem with that?

So many people hating on my results. I am proud of my results and that is all that matters. I shouldn't have to look at my comment section and see people commenting "I got 6 A *'s and the rest A's, they are so dumb" or "why are they so happy with C's". Let me clear something up, In school I wasn't the smartest person, I was always middle sets. The highest grade I could get in some subjects like Maths was a 'C' because I and many others were in 'foundation'. Yes I mentioned the fact that I didn't revise because I put everything into what I believed in which was RUclips. Your GCSE's do not define you as a person and certainly do not dictate your future, for someone like me they mean nothing because I have a full time job (RUclipsr) which means I wont be needing to go to College. People who are on it and understand how RUclips works, will understand the fact that RUclips is not just a site where you upload videos but it is a video platform which opens many doors such as TV work and a whole lot more (which I have done). So don't be someone who sits behind their screen and comments some hate and calls me 'dumb' because really you are the dumb one for commenting "RUclips wont last forever" it is owned by Google so I don't think its going anywhere anytime soon but if it was to go don't you think my management and I have back up ideas? The whole point of living is to believe and succeed and I don't believe that someone will become successful because they got straight A's I mean it has already been proven.

To be fair the English exams were quite hard XD it's not just like "hey, write a story about kittens" or something. Anyone could do that. It's quite analytical, for the Literature one you have to analyse characters and themes in detail and stuff, and in Language you have to basically analyse some text, write something closely based on the text and then summarise another text. I got an A in English Lit and a B in English Language
I got a B, but you don't write like a story. You have to read a book or sample and answer questions about it and shit

My cousin got 11 A* and I am doing the new GCSE Program and my targets are mainly all 5s and i am currently achieving 3s. And my family thinks that I am amazing at school because my only good subject is art

Sick of reading in the comments about how degrading a C grade is and how your parents would kill you if you had that grade. Firstly, your parents should be proud no matter what you get as long as you tried your hardest and secondly some of you clearly must be uneducated because C grade is a very good pass and will get you into university. Also core subjects for example, maths, English and science are the main subjects that are wanted nowadays for jobs/careers. Also the world is changing and nowadays GCSEs aren't that big of a deal neither are A levels and yes for some career choices such as doctors you may come out of university after long years of studying and get a job striaght away as it is an in demand career but other careers are NOT in demand and therefore many people come out ( regardless of their C's or A*s ) and end up in an average job. Another thing to have to remember is some people find GCSEs challenging.
If you go to university to study a chosen field with A's or C's and both graduate and both get the same job, what you need to remember is that you will both be on the same wage therefore that just proves that you are no better than anyone else for having higher grades so get your head out of your arses you bunch of children. The majority of you are probably around 16/17 or younger and have no real life experience of what it is like getting careers and jobs. Come back in ten years and tell me how you feel then.

+Lewis P yes I understand that but some people are commenting about how bad a c grade is and how they would be disappointed and although these boys may not have tried hard a lot of people will try their very hardest and still only achieve a C because that is all they are capable of
People are just commenting based on their schools/personal expectations. Some people are aiming for C's so are overjoyed when they get them, other people are aiming for A*'s and are devastated by anything else and cant comprehend how anyone can be happy with anything lower. Personally, I understand the second point of view more but I get that these guys were obviously aiming for C's so can see why they're happy with them but know personally, I would be devastated if I got these grades. Also you're right, GCSE's don't mean shit for university but you're wrong about A-levels. They determine what university you can go to and that will literally be the be all or end all of you. Just saying you went to Bath will get you the job over someone who went to a smaller/lower grade requirement university, even if you got a 2:1 and they got a second. It sucks, but that's how it is. I know someone who dropped out of Durham and got a job over a load of other applicants...just because he went to Durham...the interviewer went to Durham...Durham is a very well respected university. Not all jobs work like this (I didnt need mine for my job at all but a lot of them do.
+TheLivvyD yeah personally I would be disappointed with D grades as well but for some people I can see why C and D grades are outstanding and yes it does help with university just pointing out that some people in the comment section think or are trying to imply that they are better because they can achieve higher than others which is wrong
Fucking hell my whole family would string me up by my ankles if I got those 😂 the only exam I'm allowed to get a 5(C) in is maths because I really struggle, but I'm supposed to get a 7 in maths.
every other subject I'm expected to get 7s(As) and 8s(A*)
