I really do liked my industrial piercing on my right ear. I have it for almost 5 years on September 21,2024. It was my 1st piercing over 20 years from my last one in late May 1999. I do have 6 piercings on both ears. I do have 3 lobe piercings on both ears, both with a conch piercing, my left ear has 2 cartilage piercings, and of course my industrial piercing on my right ear. I started with my 1st piercings on my lobes almost 30 years ago in August 1994. I was 24 years ago. I glad that I got them in my 20’s instead of my teens. I haven’t had a piercing for a little bit over 2 years. I’m pretty cool on my ears with those piercings. I’m kind of close to the age of my mother on her only first piercings on her lobes. She was 55 years old on them.

Do people realize how funny they sound, not funny but odd when they have their tongue pierced?
The people who still talk with a lisp after its healed are still wearing the original jewelry with is extra long to accommodate for swelling. It needs to be downsized after the swelling stops. People with the correct size jewelry talk perfectly fine

I’m 72 years old. No tattoos no piercings. My sister’s granddaughter who is 15 just had her nose pierced. It’s a little teeny tiny diamond. I told her she could’ve glued one on. I have super glued on little beads and it looked like I had my ears pierced. When I was around 15 I told my big brother that I was thinking of getting my ears pierced and he said the following… I think you have enough holes in your head as it is. I figured he was right… he’s my big brother, and big brothers know these things lol! 😊

there is no numbing agent for piercings. and the worst of the pain only lasts a single second. if you can’t handle that, piercings are not for you. because if you can’t handle that, how are you going to handle the healing pain? piercings hurt no matter what you do. + legally only an anaesthetist could administer anaesthesia.

most piercings are 16 gauge ears are typically 18 i think they look better as a 16 gauge
the needles with green caps are 18 gauge, the needles with grey caps are 16 gauge. typically the jewellery that goes in is lower gauge to the needle (e.g., if you're pierced with a 16 gauge needle we'll put 14 gauge jewellery in, if you're pierced with an 18 gauge needle we'll put 16 gauge jewellery in)

I got my Industrial piercing… the chick took a chunk of my superior crus of antihelix with the needle when she went across my ear to the other side… (basically the middle part where the bar rests) didn’t notice it thinking the blood was coming from where I got the piercing till I was able to remove the bar once it was healed seeing and feeling the crescent shape. I didn’t budge an inch as she did my piercing not wanting to mess her up in any way in the process of it so it wasn’t as if I was squirming around making it hard on her, she had me sitting on the edge of the bench and I don’t know anything about what’s professional to do what but if it helped her by me laying down or whatever I really wish she would have told me so it didn’t happen to my ear… in the end I love my industrial and plan on getting my other ear done but I won’t go back to that place ever again even though the staff is sweet I don’t trust getting a piercing there after that. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal?

@@Heymannnnnn ok for me it was like a 4/10 but I have a rlly low pain tolerance sooo ya. But honestly it was really only that the shock of it got to me. All it really was,was my ears feeling a very hot wich is normal 💕
