this is lowkey the best part of the game, the way it captures meve's despair is amazing, and seeing geralt and dandy, and the music aaaah i lost my shit when i went through this fight. 10/10 for me

Even though I was playing on the hard difficulty and had to retry the battle multiple times, it didn't ever take away from how powerful it felt. Having read the books I knew a Geralt cameo had to come whenever Meve would reach the bridge, and though short, it was everything I could hope for. It's really cool that they changed his and Cahir's abilities to support each other like in the book. Marcin Przybyłowicz kicked ass as usual with the music, and that moment at 12:39 where they kill your Meve card 🤌🤌🤌 First time I played through this battle I was pretty stressed out I couldn't use the leader ability since I'd rely on it quite a bit, but when Meve's card gets taken out and then she walks back to the corner of the screen like a goddamn boss I just ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥I COULDN'T Probably the best part in the game
That fight was very enjoyable for me. I messed up the first round due to Alba Veterans. Then, the second round came with Geralt, Cahir, I played more careful to win that round. It was a close one and the most critical. In the third round, I boosted everyone using Isbel. They were like 70 points each and Geralt-Cahir duo was basically unstoppable. That of couse was possible because of how much damage I took in the first two rounds. In the end I had more than 500 points. Which was too much to win it anyway but that is how op Isbel can be. So, it also really fit the story, while being crushed, Geralt and co. comes to your rescue and changes the tide of the battle.

I remember when Meve chuckled during knighthood ceremony, I was smiling misty-eyed and I am a grown man. Damn, they really made this game with love.
