Everyone and their mother tries to tell you that all walls in Germany were bricks. This is true for any exterior walls. But some walls between walls might be plasterboard. Or rather plasterboard and additional soundproofing or insulation on top of a brick wall.

I suggest you watch the series 1899, which is from the same creators as Dark. Unfortunately, the series was cancelled, which is very upsetting because it is a very intriguing, mysterious, good series that holds people's attention from start to finish. Greetings from Brazil. 🇧🇷🇧🇷👍🏻👍🏻

When I first watched the show I had to keep a notebook next to me to try and keep track of all the characters and their relations to each other. Highly recommend you guys do the same!

Well this is kind of spoilers. For anyone who's watched the show, how do people going in the cave not find the secret tunnel that sends you through time? I know Jonas couldn't find it until he got the map but wouldn't the police or even just Ulrich completely explore the cave to make sure Mikkel wasn't in it somewhere and find it by accident? I can't remember the answer to this even though I've watched the series twice.

I forgot how tightly written this show is. They really went through it with a fine-tooth comb to make sure all the dialogue and every individual scene was edited and placed in the perfect order. Really an excellent series.

19:29 yeah, another amazing part of this show is the casting. It's absurd how well they casted the younger versions of the characters. You can glimpse at younger ulrich for a second and just instantly recognize him
I absolutely LOVE this aspect of the show… I’ve never seen this done in a better way. It’s almost ridiculous how perfectly they casted everyone
@@blurredmirrors yeah, getting into SPOILER territory here but especially in the later seasons when we also get future versions of the characters, it's so amazing how well all three generations are casted.

When the boy is punching his wall and he gets bloody hands, he's not punching a stud. Basically, all houses in Germany have stone walls. You get bloody hands no matter where you punch them.
There's a meme out there, where a US wall with a hole in it is Sad Cheems, "please don't hurt me", and a European wall is Swole Doge, "try that again and I'll break your other arm as well".

12:05 America moment. Most walls in Europe are not paper-thin like in the US and Canada. Bricks are pretty solid. Even interior walls are usually brick. I would think that only new-builds have a chance of being plasterboard and that'd be uncommon.

For those commenting how much the boys talk there’s likely 2 reasons.
1. They’re a reaction channel. They’re reacting.
2. Possibly helps with not getting pinged for copyright, even with the heavy editing.
Let the boys enjoy the show, and us enjoy their reactions. Especially if we’ve seen it before. We all had the chance to process our theories when we watched it, they just get to do it as a group. It’s great to see where their minds go, especially when they’re bang on the mark or so way left field. But it’s fun to see the way they process it.

nah, notes are horrible in general. They're good if u want them for a post-episode discussion, but a lot of channels miss out on extra information because they were writing something instead of paying attention to what's currently happening

I feel like you guys would enjoy the first season so much better if you don't know about the time travel. Some of the twists and turns are depend on it but now that you know about the time travel it just a guessing game. I remember I started watching it when season2 came out and had zero idea what it's about and it was a mind blowing experience🤯not when i realized that it was about time travel but when I realized how unique this show is in term of time travel story.

Peak and goated, but quite serious. Has no funny shits.
I seriously recommend keeping track of every single character/family in this show on a whiteboard, a notebook, or an iPad, because otherwise your head might hurt trying to keep track of everything and you'll eventually get lost. Many of us watched Dark this way lol

Just some advice from someone who tried to cook but kept getting confused with the names lol. Its easier to put together some sort of diagram/family tree were u guys can keep track of everyone. It gets harder in the upcoming episodes where you have younger/older versions of the same people to keep track off lol

@@ukuviispert9599 yes it was, but not because it wasn't good, but because the budget was too high comapared to how many people were watching. i mean. i think it had same numbers of Dark (maybe more because we already knew what the producers could do??) but it was much more expensive so that they had to make Game of Thrones numbers (GoT starting budget was not great but with that audience they could invest more)
This show could be marketed as "Hold the Door - The Series".
