Awww man, you left us with the cliff hanger. Great job so far! I can't to see everything in place. I was laughing at how easy your cousin made it look and then you were putting stuff on as you read.
😂 He did make it look easy! I spent at least 50% of the time reading the directions and getting situated. 🤣 But hey, it got done! I’m excited to show the arranging of books and then the final touches over time.
I absolutely enjoyed this vlog sis! Something a little different but still tying into what your channel is about. Loving this for you! Can't wait to see the completion. You look good lady! Love you! ❤❤
🤣 You could tell how over it and tired I was, huh? Yeah, he was going to come back but lives an hour away (also a dad of two little ones and a husband) and I told him I had it from there. Lol. It was exhausting but kind of fun. I’m proud of myself. 🤪 Thank you for the compliment!
Your video randomly appeared to me and I enjoyed every second of it. I like your bookshelves and your desk but I would make some changes to the furniture positions but it's your space and you decide. I can't wait to see the room decorated and all the books on the bookshelves. Hugs from Brazil!
Thank you and I’m so glad you it randomly popped up, you watched, and enjoyed it! Curious, how would you arrange it? Someday down the line I may want to change it up and would like to know thoughts.
@@dbooknerd My modifications would be simple and justified, thinking about your room in the future: - I think your "L" shaped desk would look better on the left corner of the window. Where it is now, it creates an obstacle to getting something from the bookshelf on the right, since you have to go around part of it to reach the bookshelf. - I would put the bookshelves on the largest wall, because if you need to buy more bookshelves in the future, you can put one next to the ones you have without having to move a lot of furniture around. If with only two bookshelves the wall is a little empty, you can put pictures on the wall, or a potted plant. And you could also put a comfortable armchair near the bookshelves and the window to read with a small table (one of the ones shown at the beginning of the video, for example) next to it to put a drink, some decoration, or even the book you are currently reading... You would end up taking advantage of the sunlight to read. If the bookshelves are on the opposite side of the desk, you can record videos at your desk and use the bookshelves in the background as a backdrop for your videos. These modifications also work if you do the opposite: Put the table on the right side and the bookshelves on the left wall. But since the door opens onto that wall, you end up losing a bit of space. So, in the future, if you need more space, you'll have to rotate everything around to make it work. Looking forward to the shelf organization video... I don't have as many books as you do and I almost die when I decide to organize my shelves. Merry Christmas!!
@@Fernando-Rodrigues91Thank you for this well thought out input! I will take it into consideration should I change it around in the future (especially if I get more shelves).
I’m the kinda girlie that would need cousin Rashad to do everything LOL cause IKEA products and I have a hate/hate relationship 🥴. P.S. you don’t play about the Lakers huh? 😂
Lol!!!! I feel you! I think from now on someone else can definitely do it all. I might still be a bit love/hate though. It was a cool (but irritating and exhausting) process. No, I don’t play at all about my team! 💜💛🤣

That's a wonderful space..Can't wait to see the next step.
Thank you! It’s coming together nicely and I love it in there.
