All these things need is an undercarriage/over carriage giant airbag donut shape for if there is a sudden loss of altitude. It wouldn't be difficult to link it's deployment to an accelerometer and altimeter or even have a manual deployment.
@@leedart That will only work for those flying at high altitude. Most people, especially young people will want the sensation of speed so fly at altitudes too low for a parachute to deploy. It's actually crazy that personalised body air bags aren't more utilized. They have them for motorbikes to protect just the head area and for builders on ladders. Curious. 1) Why should the props be exposed? Why not put protective rings around them? 2) And if one prop is out of order, can the Jetson fly with only 3 rotors working?
Exciting and I would love to fly one. I would not fly one without Lexan shields. If a blade came apart it could be like getting hit with a lawn mower blade.
Other companies need to start developing add-on tech for these. Things like radar for other low flying craft, warnings for power lines, crash proof cargo compartments, and other things that will be important for future owners.
I'd like to get one of these to use as transportation to work on nice days, the same way I do my motorcycle now. The range might need to evolve a little bit yet before that would be feasible
We could have a race or a war with those. Could mount a couple AR style rifles on it. I'd want them scaled up a bit to be able to carry up to like 400 pounds for a man and equipment along with a bigger battery bank.

Very sick indeed , would love to see some high flights over mountains and following rivers through valleys , also I’m sure they must have a ballistic parachute system so it would be cool to see an unmanned test of that system ! One more thing how much is the protected cost for buyers 🤷🏻♂️
Like the early gas buggies and early EV's, these are enormously impractical at their present state of technology. That being said, gas vehicle have been around for 100 years and electric vehicles are becoming ubiquitous, so who's to say what the next 10-20 years hold for the Jetson? I clicked like👍 before watching the video! I am so excited for Jetson to get us off of the ground. Jetson ONE for the win!
Beautiful, you’ve come along ways from your first videos. Very well done !! Fan from the beginning of your journey, bravo !!!
What's the difference? They still will not show a complete flight or prove it can keep a man up for a full minute. They are edited the same way.
Well that's pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing you develop this further.
This is going to change commercial aviation, good luck! 😊
I want to be able to hop in and fly around just like my mini drone does today. These are so freaking cool!
So COooOOOl!!
Wonderful! ❤❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing
Take to the skies! I think I’ll make my own version in the future

It has multiple twin rotors for redundancy.
1) prop guards increase the weight 2) It has 8 motors/props, it can easily fly with one less.
They can fly safely with one less motor all the way to the scene of the crash!😂
Let's see a video of how high it will go.
Need to attach a parachute first.
Or a video of it carrying a person for a full minute low to the ground.

how long can a flight last ?

Ok but from this ,i did not see any place for parachute..how come and why?
The just need to enclose the blades now, like they do on the Hover camera drones.
Why? Aren’t these flying lawn mowers?
These need ballistic chutes fitted if you want to take them more than a few feet off the ground.
Ready for 3D printing and building in the backyard. Lol
Shouldn't they put lightweight caging around the props? Just for safety measures
