I live in Orlando and I have yet to go there. I remember going to the park before it opened and being super excited. It opened two years ago and my friends who have been able to go say its still packed and have to wait no less than half an hour for a butterbeer (which Im told is delicious).

Oh my word. I visited there earlier last year with one of my best friends ever and it was AMAZING! Honey dukes chocolate is the best! Butterbeer is so yum and the dragon challenge rollercoaster is so much fun! Harry potter is absolutely amazing!

I went there yesterday! but it was so crowded :/ you could barely move around and there were lines to get into the shops and the ride was a 2 hour wait.
@heybells Don't worry too much. Since it's just opening, it will take a while for them to be able to run it smoothly. And can you imagine how crowded and unpleasant it will be the first few months, esp. during summertime? You'll be much happier to wait a year or so, so it can be perfected. As I Floridian, I'd say wait.
I'm hoping the one they're building in the UK. Will be just as spectacular as this one. And I'm so happy it's only going to be build a few hours away from me! :D

@mymindisblanc123 it was originally planned to be set in London, however, London was too rainy to construct a theme park. So, they chose sunny Florida instead.
Yes, the butterbeer with mug costs about $11 (price is based on what I paid the time I was there...in March hehe). If you don't wish to keep a mug, a disposable one with butterbeer of course costs either $3.25 (cold) or $4.25 (frozen/slushy version).

ive been here and OMG this place was amazing. The ride somethig "Forbidden journey" was soo cool but we had to wait in line for atleast 2hrs before going into the actually ride ;[. i just wish we could've taken more picture inside hogwarts but staff rushed us to go into the ride

i went to Orlando last week but i fully regret it that i didnt went a month later when the Harry Potter Parked Opened
Although I wish they would have located Wizarding World in Enlgand, or, more precisely, in Scotland, so that it would be concise with the actual location of the Hogwarts castle, having it in America makes it far closer to me, so that makes me pretty happy. :3
and I agree about the camera-man being mostly focused on Emma. It took me a while to realize that Fred and George were behind her, and, even more so, Neville, because boy oh boy he's grown since the last movie. Practically unrecognizable.
It's just a re-built movie set, but movie sets are cool so awesome.

@Dolgo1 Actually that is not just for the Wizarding World that is the price for the whole Islands of Adventure Park there are different sections with different movie themes they just opened this new section up. I know because I live in Florida lol I have been like 4 times

Right at the middle of this I realized just how big the grin on my face was. It's upsetting knowing that I don't have the money to go and probably won't until my childhood/adolescence is over. But I swear, one day I will see this amazing place.
