The no of students admitted in a class Also, how can you compare the job opportunities in downtown and doon campus for international students. Thank you
Hello Bolawa, Great to hear about your plan to study at Conestoga! I myself have completed the same course last year, you will enjoy the course curriculum and the knowledgeable staff. To answer your question, Doon campus usually enrolls about 100 students for every intake which are further divided into 3 different batches (Different timetable/schedule) Doon and Downtown campuses are both part of a same city Kitchener so honestly there are fairly similar job opportunities irrespective of the campus- Doon campus is the largest with all amenities. Part-time job would not be a trouble especially during Fall- you will secure a job eventually. Check out my video dedicated to part time jobs in Canada. Hello, 1) The program seems very well planned and executed by focusing on internationally trained nurses. It will give you over 400 clinical hours experience besides prepare you for liscensing. Conestoga college is great in terms of healthcare education. So go for it. 2) international Nurses having plenty of job opportunities here part time as well. You can work as PSW/HSW workers at Long term care homes/ Retirement homes. The pay scale is also great! There are a lot opportunities in kitchener-waterloo region 3) 2 years program (16 months) will give you 3 years of work permit and visa 4) Accomodation is often found on Facebook marketplace/ Kijiji. If you don’t have any one here, book an Air bnb stay for first week until you find an accommodation. Don’t pre book it from India as you might get scammed. Transportation is reliable in Kitchener waterloo Cambridge region- public transit is cheap and accessible. Rest assured. You will sink in very swiftly. It all feels overwhelming before arriving, but you will find it all good! Best wishes for you future and feel free to reach out in case of another doubt!

I had few questions as following: 1. when is the right time to apply for canada study visa? 2. Hello, 1- Right time for visa would he immediately after getting the offer letter for admission 2- Project management usually has a cool schedule- 3-4 days a week. Different timing depending on your batch 3- part time jobs are plenty in kitchener-waterloo-Cambridge. Search on kijiji/ indeed or just walk into stores with resumes 4- Accommodation preferably near to the campus area- always search on google maps for proximity 5- i knew people in the course- not very great outcomes if you donot have part work experience. Hello Siva, Honestly, Kitchener is the biggest of all other campus cities for Conestoga. Here you are a part of Tricity area (Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge) so can find jobs in all these cities. These cities are very close to each other so you get a broader scope.
Hello, can you please provide information about part time jobs for international students. Please elaborate on the type of jobs that students can do and that are available.
Hello,I choose health and social system navigation.i did my b.h.m.s. I don't know about job opportunity after this course .I choose Doon campus.plz reply...
Hello! I believe it is a 1-year diploma course. This will help you get 1-year work permit here. For the course outcomes, as it is a diploma course finding a related job would be a difficult task. Most of the jobs here in Canada are based on your previous work experiences and previous professional education. So if you are taking this just for entering in Canada, go for it. But the job outcomes could be very few as there is no job placement system in Canada. Accomodation should not be an issue- you will find plenty of student rentals and shared accommodation on Kijiji and Facebook marketplace. Book a place only after you see it personally! Course curriculum should be mentioned on the college website- it is exactly what it says there. Classes are subjective to batches- usually 3-4 days/week
Honestly the class schedule changes every semester and could be different for different batches. On an average, classes can be from Monday to Friday (4 days a week) However, they divide students into different batches and that can lead to even 3days/week. You will get to know that on the orientation day.

Hello, Congratulations on getting admitted to Conestoga college, you will definitely love studying here. Honestly, the courses here are designed to give you more of theoretical knowledge- not practical application. There are very few students who secure job through these diploma or short courses- most employers look for real time work experience. So if you have a relevant past experience in IT- you can definitely find a job sooner or later. If not, you will first have to get some Canadian job experience until you find a professional field job. While you are studying- enjoy your new space and college life. Rest assured- everyone eventually finds a good job!

Hello Richu, I understand your questions and curiosity to know about course and post-completion outcomes. I would not be the best person to comment on the job situation but I can say that don’t keep great expectations with diploma courses. You will get good theoretical knowledge but to get a job, you still need previous work experience in the field (if you have, rest assured) Most 1/2-year courses would not have co-ops which is fine. Just try finding part time jobs in similar environments so you can show this experience post-course completion for field jobs. Most people are able to cover course fees/ living expenses with part time jobs (now that there is a full time working allowance). But also depends on your lifestyle. Hope this helps.

Hey I got offer letter for diploma in business course .. is it good there ??? Please reply whenever you have time
Hello,
The course will be good no doubt, but the course outcomes are not that great.
These courses are designed to give you an in-depth knowledge about business. But in-terms of finding job, you need to have other skill sets including past experience in the field. Only degree won’t help fetch a job.
@@pinkophilic2939 do you think that a specific course would be better .. like diploma in business - sales and marketing , or diploma in business -international business??

Hi, I'm from Bangladesh.
What is the best way to admit this college for those students who have a long study gap?
Hello, the best way to apply to these colleges is using the normal way.
Long gap between studies won’t matter if you can justify what you did during those gap years e.g: worked fulltime/part time.
Besides a good Ielts score will make a perfect candidate

Hi, I'm applying for a post graduate program at Conestoga, health care administration for fall 2023, I will like to know if you know the no of students admitted to fall class or per semester in doon campus or any of the campus. The no of students admitted in a class
Also, how can you compare the job opportunities in downtown and doon campus for international students.
Thank you
Hello Bolawa,
Great to hear about your plan to study at Conestoga! I myself have completed the same course last year, you will enjoy the course curriculum and the knowledgeable staff.
To answer your question, Doon campus usually enrolls about 100 students for every intake which are further divided into 3 different batches (Different timetable/schedule)
Doon and Downtown campuses are both part of a same city Kitchener so honestly there are fairly similar job opportunities irrespective of the campus- Doon campus is the largest with all amenities.
Part-time job would not be a trouble especially during Fall- you will secure a job eventually. Check out my video dedicated to part time jobs in Canada.
Also, a small reality check: PGDM in Healthcare Administration would not give you practical job opportunities.
Reach out if you have any doubts further
@@pinkophilic2939 could u share about the job opportunities after completion of healthcare administration.
@@MohammedIsmael26032001
If I would have to give an honest answer, I would say it is difficult to find a field job immediately especially in Healthcare. Canadian job market asks you to have a previous work experience in the field before hiring you. So my opinion would be, start finding field jobs part-time while you are studying. Offer to volunteer for free while studying as this will give you a hands-on experience in the healthcare field which will help you fetch a good job post-studying.
This course alone will not help with placements; you will have to work equally hard to find a job.
You can watch my video dedicated to Adminstration courses.
Hi Bolawa, I also want to apply for this program. I noticed there is no break between the semesters?

100% chance to get in to this course. But why don’t you look for lab tech courses than admin? These admin jobs would lie way low than your talent; go for some real time options in techs. The hospitals here need medical technicians

Hi mam we were planning to doon campus in September 23 intake for enhanced practice for internationally educated nurses 2years program
1.Is it right decision
2.part time job opportunities
3.its 2years program of 8months in each year, then for how months can I get visa
4.how to search for accommodation, transportation
Alot of doubts pls guideme
Hello,
1) The program seems very well planned and executed by focusing on internationally trained nurses.
There are a lot opportunities in kitchener-waterloo region
3) 2 years program (16 months) will give you 3 years of work permit and visa
4) Accomodation is often found on Facebook marketplace/ Kijiji.

1- Right time for visa would he immediately after getting the offer letter for admission
2- Project management usually has a cool schedule- 3-4 days a week. Different timing depending on your batch
3- part time jobs are plenty in kitchener-waterloo-Cambridge. Search on kijiji/ indeed or just walk into stores with resumes
4- Accommodation preferably near to the campus area- always search on google maps for proximity
5- i knew people in the course- not very great outcomes if you donot have part work experience. But this case is same for all diploma courses

Hi ! I m applying for business analytics course for sep 2023
Is it a good course ? Can u plz guide me about classes and accomodation
Can you tell how many days in a week classes are held for Predictive Analytics
Honestly the class schedule changes every semester and could be different for different batches.
On an average, classes can be from Monday to Friday (4 days a week)
However, they divide students into different batches and that can lead to even 3days/week.
You will get to know that on the orientation day.

Hello,
Congratulations on getting admitted to Conestoga college, you will definitely love studying here.

The best advice I can give you for PR is to find if the job would come under NOC/Teers for CRS score.
Also, check on indeed.ca to find if there are jobs available related to this course (check course curriculum VS job requirements)
This will give you a clearer picture if it is worth it also in terms of pay scale.

2- this course doesn't mention if it provides a co-op, so would that be an issue?
3- would I be able to cover my course fee, my living expenses and also keep aside some money as a savings from the part time jobs available?
Thanks in advance for your replies, which will be highly valued.
Hello Richu,
I understand your questions and curiosity to know about course and post-completion outcomes.
I would not be the best person to comment on the job situation but I can say that don’t keep great expectations with diploma courses. You will get good theoretical knowledge but to get a job, you still need previous work experience in the field (if you have, rest assured)
Most 1/2-year courses would not have co-ops which is fine. Just try finding part time jobs in similar environments so you can show this experience post-course completion for field jobs.
Most people are able to cover course fees/ living expenses with part time jobs (now that there is a full time working allowance). But also depends on your lifestyle.
Hope this helps.
