Dominiq Ponder: Freshman FBU ALL-American game Qb. As a Sophomore Led Naples Highschool undefeated in 6A and a top 100 national ranking. Going to UF under Dan Mullen stops all recruiting. Mullen gets fired a couple years later and Ponder must re-establish recruiting. Ponder ran a Veer offense and although he was 2nd in the county in Rushing he didn’t throw it 25/30 times a game. He transferred Senior year to Carol City in Miami to play against the best D-backs in football in Miami North Western and Central and threw for +2600yrds and 29 touchdowns. He narrowed his choices down to Texas Tech and UNLV. After visiting UNLV 3/4 times he chose UNLV in December and would start in June. January 3rd Ed Reed calls and offers Bethune Cookman and a deal of a lifetime. After seeing what Shedeur and coach Prime were building at the HBCU program Ponder chose to follow and he early enrolled at Bethune 3 days later on campus starting classes. Coach Reed was fired by Bethune and Ponder was left to Ponder his future. He went from Qb1 throwing 3 touchdowns in the Spring game (the only touchdowns) to being the 5th Qb behind the new staffs recruits! (Leaving out much of the story) let’s jump to December and Ponder enters the Portal. A Straight A student he joins Georgia Tech whom had also been recruiting him since his freshman year in highschool. He enrolls at GT and starts practice Jan 4th. With 9 qbs on roster he decided to again enter Portal and take a walkon opportunity at Colorado and learn from the BEST coaches on earth in Coach Prime and Coach Shurmur. Ponder loves it! He says he wouldn’t leave UC for a Million dollars. Ponder says learning from Coach Shurmur is the greatest thing that has ever happened to him! He’s learned more in a summer at UC than in his 16 years of playing football. Ponder also says learning from the #1 Qb Sheduer Sanders is a dream! To play behind a guy that is simply the Best and hear what he sees and to be able to ask him questions is phenomenal. It’s like having a cheat code Bcas Shedeur has such a high football iq. Stabb and the entire Qb room has taken Ponder in like a brother and they help each other get better everyday. As for playing time and being 2/3/4/5 Ponder doesn’t care about any of that. He’s just happy to be a part of the team and go to battle with his brothers! Lastly, this story is about Coach Prime being from the 239 and giving a kid from the 239 a chance! A HUGE OPPORTUNITY! A unheard of opportunity! The BEST opportunity of his young life. Ponder has to earn the coaches trust and the teams trust and I believe that is what he’s trying to do. In the end this is just simply another Coach Prime story of how he works through God and changes peoples lives. Ponder just wants to make the team. Relationships and hard work and blessings will come leaving nothing to Ponder 💭

Even if he is an undercover hater it won’t matter if these guys win so let him eat and don’t support his content if you don’t like it. Personally I like hearing different perspectives it helps paint a fuller picture of the program for folks like me who aren’t physically there. Bottom line line is we shall all see what it is when they hit the field . I’m excited and here for it all

With sooo much legit talent and depth at the skill positions... CU can be a dangerous team in the allergic to defense Big 12.... But, that O Line just has me shaking my head. Not much togetherness and passion to block up front.

The B12 has always played defense, they were just playing the most advanced/aggressive offensive schemes and against QBs that grew up throwing the ball (pre 7v7 becoming popular). They were running vertical RPOs while the SEC was 3 yards and a cloud of dust in the I formation.

@@Gilly-o6w I've been studying B12 schemes for a long time, unlike most people I don't just watch and follow the ball, I actually understand football. They were playing against 400 level offensive schemes while the SEC was playing vs 100 level schemes.

People that mock, tear down and hate others are generally as to personality as follows. Insecure, immature, self serving and often times self-loathing. They're often without friends, because of they're being grating and obnoxious. Lastly and almost always narcissistic, which is kind of weird seeing their self-loathing trait...go figure. 🤔
