i used to work for msr in seattle years ago when this canister stand came out and i've always wondered why it wasn't marketed as also being suitable for use with a svea. when i bought my first one on employee discount the first thing i tested was how well the svea would fit into it., it fits great and not only does it make the stove more stable, it also insulates the stove from the ground improving it's performance. communication in that company wasn't really that great, underlings like myself with ideas were always ignored....

Ain't that always the case.
That’s amazing. Thanks for sharing
Brilliant, thank you.
Great Idea. I'm going to have to get this.
What is the Cup you are using?
It's the Stainless Steel Pathfinder mug
Bought an MSR stand on your recommendation, even though they’re £17! It doesn’t fit, a waste of money.
Do you remember which Pathfinder cup fits the 123?
Yes it this one.
