Ugh I just want this exact keyboard with no badge, a knob instead of a screen, and preferably no blank spots all keys. There is legitimately no brand that makes a keyboard with a knob, all 4 right most keys filled in, all 3 keys to the right of the spacebar filled in, and the arrow keys aligned with the bottom and right rows. I just want a full rectangle of keys except for the knob! Why does this not exist?! At any rate, super nice board, just a few minor reasons why I wouldn't get it other than I'm cheap. Probably going with an Aula F75 for now. :)
Very nice video, great overview of this new board. I love my V75 Pro for its excellent, enthusiast design, and I'm happy to see them making new boards. I just wish they would take their programming seriously. I'm disappointed to see such basic programming for the screen, and although Cidoo uses VIA, it's an extremely limiting experience. Most poeple expect VIA keyboards to use full QMK, but the V75 Pro does not. Although is uses some QMK commands, it can't process most of them. It was very frustrating to discover it can't Mod-tap or even program a macro with a delay. I hope Cidoo decides to make the V75 a full QMK keyboard. The weak programming is the only flaw on an otherwise exceptional keyboard.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the board and I do apologize for the delayed response. I agree after using it for almost a month i started to dive deep into their software and it was really wonky at times and I hope they take it more seriously on their next board! Thank you again for watching my review and for commenting this means a lot to me!
@@Rx003 Thanks for the reply! I hope more people start talking about these deficiencies. At this moment, I will not support Cidoo any further. If they ever fix their lazy programming, I will reconsider. I already wasted my money on their manipulative marketing, so they have some making up to do before I ever consider giving them more money.
Hey, I'm getting into the hobby and this board seemed to tick all my boxes but your comment has me worried.I was just wondering, are the problems you mentioned fixable with updates? Has cidoo fixed anything since you posted this or is this just a permanent weakness to this board? Can this board become fully qmk ready if cidoo put out some update? Or is it a flaw based off of the physical components? I'm still learning so I'm trying to understand how something can be "semi" qmk ready and what it means for limitations. Thanks for your time!
@@Draegon86 No, they will NEVER update it. I wrote Epomaker/Cidoo asking for updates and they confirmed it will NEVER be improved. I wish I hadn't purchased the board.
@DrivenKeys out of curiosity, what board would you suggest to someone in retrospect, knowing what you know now? I'm looking at a neo65 but I'd love to hear your take since it sounds like we're both looking for the same things in a board and I'd like to gather some more knowledge so I can avoid buyers remorse.
Hey! Did you use the "custom image tool" software from there website to get the gif playing on the screen? Everytime I run the program, it goes into "not responding" when I click on anything within the programs window. I haven't gotten it to do literally anything at all, and ive tried un-install and re-install.
Yes I just followed the custom image tool, i no longer have the board since it was a loaner review so I cant double check anymore sorry about that , but thatnks for watching the review I appreciate it
@@Rx003 no worries! I loved the video regardless. I think I may have found a way to get it to work. I ran the image tool program on my gf's pc since it has Windows 10 instead of Windows 11.
Hi sorry for the late response, feature wise I like the v75 plus but I believe it has no rgb back lighting. I havent tried the M1W tho so I cant really say in terms of the sound and feel.
Yes it was already built. If yours is screw ins I suggest checking out Taeha Types he has a video on how to put in the stabs as is quite hard to explain it via comments haha
But basically you just need to align the stabs on the hole on the pcb where your modifiers are located, just screw them in place and you should be good to go.
hello i just purchase this keeb from easy pc, can you please create a video using gazzew boba U4T switches or make a marbly setup using this keeb this will truely help me decide which switch and keycaps to buy thank you.
@@zymonereyes5408lol you are comparing a barebones vs a pre-built. This won't dethrone the M1 as this is way expensive. M1 still is the budget king. M1W is a completely different category so there is no point comparing
I don't know why they keep that badge design, it made the whole board look cheap asf. I have the V75, not gonna upgrade it just because that ugly badge.

The non plus version of this keyboard has a knob
@@lor7780 But I hate the offset arrow keys. 🥲

miss ya on my comments, thank you!

Does it have RGB backlighting?
Nice vid

when you unboxed your cidoov75 ,are the stabilizers are already inserted?, because mine isn't and I have literally have no idea how to attach it. XD

I couldn’t get the image custom tool to work on Windows 11.
Hmmm will tell cidoo if ever.

Sadly I gave the board back to easy pc before I can try other switches my apologies on that! But still thank you for watching my review on this!
would you suggest this Cidoo v75plus or the Monsgeek m1?
Feature wise and typing feel, i like the cidoo v75plus more than the monsgeek.
if via can not detect, what should i do?
Would suggest contacting the vendor or cidoo directly on IG as they are quite responsive.
whats the difference between that and the v81+
I believe only the led screen on the top.
It's identical to Finalkey v81 plus?
I believe yes just different branding
Sorry but i thought thicker gaskets should be on bottom case and vice versa?
Yeah I think I might have put it in the wrong way!
why isnt this keyboard on the website?
They just released the pre order last week,
This or the Monsgeek M1?
I love the features on this more than the m1.
any chance you can do a without foam soundtest >?
Will try and see!
will this come pre built or really just barebones?
only in barebones!
Leggooooo!!!!!
yes sirrrr
Hi! where did you download the software to change the gif?
The brand who sent me provided the file ill ask them if it will be provided out of the box when purchased.
Hi@@Rx003 I got my v75 plusalso but there is no included link where I can change the screen
Same here! Will appreciate a link to the installer bro. Thanks! Awesome vid btw!
@@itachi053011 sure just waiting on their reply. Thank you for watching the video!
@@itachi053011 Hi if you purchased yours on Easy Pc its up on their website on the product page for the v75 plus
i think this can dethrone m1 imo
tho i agree that this board is better (i prefer compact 75 as well), but M1 sits way below its price point so it'll be a hard decision for some buyers
m1w can have a case but that on button is hard to open meh

Sir is it possible to update the time?
Ohh that I am not sure I returned the board to easy pc already sadly
No worries! Thank you!
Luv the hyeju pcs ❤️
Thank you fellow orbit!
Think this is a clone of the Finalkey v81
I wouldnt say a clone but for sure the board was an oem and then the two brands slapped on their branding thats how I see it.

looks better than the zoom75 screen lmao
Actually hmm could have done a side by side comparison sad wasted opportunity! Thanks for checking out the review btw!
While the specs are very competitive, it's hard not to ignore the brand's infamous reputation.
Sorry, what infamous reputation?
I'm with the other guy. What reputation are you referring too?
For being amazing?
