I work at a haunted house in October as an actress, I am usually playing the fish monger in the pirate area (more of a comedic role, generally just joke with people and do light roasts) someone came through dressed as karkat and I said something to the effect of “get along karkat, quickly now” and the group went absolutely insane, like I though they had been scared by the guy in front of me who usually the one who gets the big scares but I hear one of them say “that fucking pirate knows homestuck.” Best experience of my as of writing 4 years doing it
