I loved at 5:47 when Kristin talked about her experience working with Tom, you could feel that trust strongly on screen their chemistry felt so natural and genuine! Yes! This is why I love her interviews/panels because she is so thoughtful in her responses. She will get her point across but is also mindful of how the fans will take it and how they see things so she will weave it in a way where she is clear on where she stands but still respectful of others opinions. Always very insightful and so eloquent with her words.
You can see how deep and introspective Kristin is here. She's enlightened for sure. The way she can use the stories she's told and frame them as alegories for the human experience. She's clearly thought of all the context of the stories, broken it down and rebuilt it into purposeful meaning.

I get the impression that she has always been very self-aware, which I find more impressive considering she has been famous since a young age. Its impressed me that she is seemingly so grounded in a certain way despite this fact. Especially now, she appears more relaxed and sarcastic, opposed to the hyper optimistic and idealistic vibes i used to get from her in the early 2010s.

And if I'm honest, I haven't seen that much. But from what I have seen, I think she is inconsistent and not the person she tries to portray. For example, she tries to portray herself as this pro-women advocate, yet has great respect for Islam, which treats women HORRIFICALLY! and is pro hammas, says absolutely nothing on social media when Jews are murdered in their homes, yet becomes vocal as soon as Gaza was hit by retaliation attacks. It seems she just goes with whatever is popular and has no actual character. She has shown massive disdain for Christianity, a religion she clearly doesn't understand and one that teaches so many of the virtues she loves to portray herself as having....again, inconsistent. People see her as this perfect little angel simple because she is pleasant and polite, when she wouldn't be any other way? She has to act that way because people are paying to see her, and she's probably fairly amicable as a person. This doesn't make her this fine outstanding moral person people say she is, people that don't know her. (I'm not saying you're saying she's those things, but people do). I've had a conversation about her with someone before here on YT, I'm not sure how I keep ending up in this conversations about a woman I've never met haha, but here I am again. I don't know, it just grates on me when I see people praise her so highly just because she reads a lot and is introspective and pleasant when someone is paying to meet her.

Well, I can't say I have really noticed this behavior of contradictions, but I don’t really engage with those topics since they seem impossible to get a clear picture of what is actually going on, so I don’t see a point when my perspective would always be nothing more than a guess. It’s like trying to pinpoint what feeling feels like. I end up in a recursive loop of unassuredness. Anytime I’ve seen her start to talk about anything I’m not interested in I would have switched it off. I mean I noticed one thing where she’d mention supporting women’s empowerment, but praised India endlessly, which I found strange because of India’s perceived rape culture. I just attested this to her making opinions based off what she’s specifically focussing on, or aware of. I'm watching Smallville again and I'm currently on season 8, and although Lois is growing on me, Lana and Clark were magical. But I can definitely see how these two women were pivotal in the different stages of his growth. It's just sad that some part of him will always ache for Lana Lang, and how she will always ache for Clark Kent. She made me believe that's why she's a awesome actress.
@MzShaybutta It's sad and hopeful at the same time. Lana was the love of his life. Their bond was so deep it'll never go away, and it's because of that there's this hopeful aspect to it. Granted, we never got to see how it would all play out in the end, and the series does imply that Lois is his endgame, but it's not as clear cut as some would think. For example as late as season 10 Clark was still thinking about Lana even while in the presence of Lois, and technically speaking Clark and Lois never married in Smallville and even after a time skip of a few years still hadn't married. It can leave you as a fan thinking that maybe Clark had 2nd thoughts, and maybe, just maybe, might still be thinking about Lana and how to solve the kryptonite suit problem to once again be with her. In conclusion, it's open ended enough for speculation and hope, and that's a good thing.

"My destiny is with you and creating our own future together." "You asked me what my dream was and it's this, with you Lois." "You are the love of my life." "You are the one. You always will be." This doesn't diminish that Clark and Lana were in love previously at one time and that they matter to each other, but it's a past relationship that everyone has happily moved on from. Also, Clark could have used blue kryptonite to be with Lana. He already knew about this even before she got the suit. He could wear it when he was around her, and take it off when saving people. But that doesn't matter anymore, since in the last seasons of Smallville, Clark and Lois are fully in love and happy. I of course would love to see Lana find happiness too. She deserves it, especially after everything she's been through.

Everything ended in a way that made sense with Clark and Lois, and it was hinted at heavily since way back in early seasons. Nothing got smashed up, it was all a natural progression for both characters. I don't know how long its been since you've seen the last few seasons, but the arc of Clark and Lois falling in love and realizing that they were the best fit for each other is truly beautiful. They had an established great friendship where they already supported each other (with held back romantic feelings/denial), and Clark had always been there for Lois, and she with him. Once Clark had matured into a man and realized what he really needed in a partner, he discovered his full feelings for Lois (beyond just a physical attraction) once he got to know her more when they worked together at the Daily Planet (as Lois also did when she matured). Clark then perused Lois continually, wanting to only be with her, and knowing that they were the perfect fit for each other. Its great to watch it play out. They balance each other and support in each other ways they they had not found previously with past relationships. Neither of them are stuck anymore in a revolving door of issues and incompatibility like they were before with other people. Instead, Clark and Lois discover that they bring out the best in each other, push each other to do better, have a matching moral compass, and work well as not only friends but also a couple deeply in love, true love. Lois was never a fallback in Smallville. The show creators said in an interview when the show came out they they were not going to change the lore characters outcomes from the comics, including Clark ending up with Lois. Also, the show creators had always planned to have Lois in the show, and fought to get Lois on the show as soon as they could. They also could only get her for a few episodes in earlier seasons due to DC restrictions and had to work around DC boundaries about when Lois and Clark could officially get together. Beyond this, the writing in the show with character dialogue and actions often stated that Lana and Clark were not meant to be together. At the same time, the show often hinted (lightly and heavily) at Clark and Lois's future together. How the show got there was Smallville's own iteration of both Clana and Clois, but Clark and Lois were always going to be endgame in Smallville.

I finished season 8 and honestly I'm not compelled to go further now that I know they're over for good. I did like Lois in season 8 but once Lana came back, I literally forgot about her. If it were true litteraly every guy in her high school would be infatuated with her when this clearly wasn't the case and it's easy enough to point out guys that only viewed her as a friend or barely noticed her at all. Lana even had guys who didn't like her as well. 3. Lex started off seeing her as no more than a friend, a friend who initially he didn't even want to help, and only later became obsessed with her because Clark liked her so much and it was clearly stated Lex always wanted what Clark had. So it really boiled down to his obsession to copy Clark's life more than anything. 4. The more I watch these videos of characters/actors I grew up and love the more I realize that I really don’t care for them as the actor and just wish they can conduct these events as the characters.
I'm not sure Kristin knows the full details of where Tom wants to take the animated series, but if I'm not mistaken the whole idea was to start it off somewhere around the time period of S8 in Smallville, meaning they would all still be in their mid 20s more or less. I know he's remarked several times he wants it to be about Smallville and before metropolis and the Superman stuff. Kristin's opinion on how their relationship would be if it were several years post S10 when they're in their 40s is interesting though, a sort of catharsis, I've never thought of it like that. I guess they would both have a lot of things they'd have to come to terms with as they grapple with a reality of them once again being to somehow be together but so much in their lives having had changed. Which makes me wonder, if they ever did continue from that last arc with Lana how would she finally get the kryptonite out of her suit?
Their relationship was always held back by pain and angst. If they went through a catharsis period and healed, their love would be stronger than ever before. And that's really saying something because their love was already very strong. They were both the love of each others lives. So I can only imagine how much they would compliment one another in their journey together. Of course, that's all pending Clark left Lois, which honestly I don't see why he wouldn't. He already left Lois for Lana on two other occasions in the show, and if Lana came back and their love was stronger than it had ever been, Lois couldn't stand in the way of that. I think to Clark it would be like she didn't exist anymore as he'd only have eyes for Lana again.
Tom and Michael have said that the animated series would take place after Season 10. It would be interesting to see what they do with Lana's arc after she has the suit. I hope they give her a confidant and positive arc, and have her find happiness too. It will also be interesting to see how they play Lex loosing his memories. Hopefully, they are able to do the animated series.

Interesting that she had difficulties articulating her issues with process of the show.. clearly she's searching for something, by the way she's repeats how she really struggled,. She must have said thr word 10 times. Possibly, shes still working through the feeling, also they're 20 year old feelings, so she might not have had the tools to analyze them back then, and now they're distant. Possibly trying to say how she felt, with out saying too much, like saying the men didn't respect women or something that could be takeb out of context, that would clearly demonstrate how she felt, but might damaged the reputation of people that she might respect in a lot of regards, not wanting the point reached to be that these are bad people. Which makes me wonder, if they ever did continue from that last arc with Lana how would she finally get the kryptonite out of her suit?
Their relationship was always held back by pain and angst. If they went through a catharsis period and healed, their love would be stronger than ever before.
And that's really saying something because their love was already very strong. They were both the love of each others lives.
So I can only imagine how much they would compliment one another in their journey together.
Of course, that's all pending Clark left Lois, which honestly I don't see why he wouldn't.
He already left Lois for Lana on two other occasions in the show, and if Lana came back and their love was stronger than it had ever been, Lois couldn't stand in the way of that.
I think to Clark it would be like she didn't exist anymore as he'd only have eyes for Lana again.

Tom and Michael have said that the animated series would take place after Season 10. It would be interesting to see what they do with Lana's arc after she has the suit. I hope they give her a confidant and positive arc, and have her find happiness too. It will also be interesting to see how they play Lex loosing his memories. Hopefully, they are able to do the animated series.
@@lilacmist04 I don't know about all of that. Tom has said many times he wants the series to take place in Smallville, not Metropolis, and he doesn't want Clark to be Superman yet.
But we will see, either way it should be good.
@@SynthwaveLana Guess I didn't see that. I saw an interview where Tom said 'they are working on an animated series that picks up right after Smallville ended.' But I agree, either way it should be good. I would love to see Smallville continued. Hope they can do it!

@@kelseykrogman oh I see. I thought she meant she hasn’t met nice girls, so I was confused because generally women are kinder. But when you put it like that I get it; it’s how genuine and caring Lana was to everyone around her, even trying to find the good in Lex despite what everyone was telling her.
Interesting that she had difficulties articulating her issues with process of the show.. clearly she's searching for something, by the way she's repeats how she really struggled,. She must have said thr word 10 times. Possibly, shes still working through the feeling, also they're 20 year old feelings, so she might not have had the tools to analyze them back then, and now they're distant. Possibly trying to say how she felt, with out saying too much, like saying the men didn't respect women or something that could be takeb out of context, that would clearly demonstrate how she felt, but might damaged the reputation of people that she might respect in a lot of regards, not wanting the point reached to be that these are bad people. My take on the answer, she felt like she was sitting at the kid table.
