It’s good to see Wiley has grown as a man. His problem is he peaked just before everything blew and underground uk artists started being taken seriously and signing big deals. He was just ahead of his time creating the scene that bought underground music mainstream. I think he had a right to be angry at the time of his downfall, he deserved a lot more respect for what he created.
He wasn’t just ahead of his time, he was AT his time. The artist being signed and taken seriously after him are a direct result of the work people like he and Dizzee and many others put in.
