You can equip a skill too,that have a counter attack since ,the rebel monarch is relying to his melee attacks. You can use the vertical cut: shadow rune and the crushing blow:Shadow Rune ,with that skills you can cancel his attacks and those skills have low Skill CD to so that you can spam those easily.and most important thing is you really need those long range attack and weapons to for more secure kills,if the skill is in CD.
i did this fight in a few attempts its pretty easy if u know how if u want to fight him like any normal enemy u will lose so heres how its done phase 1: keep your distance dont use skills except u have shadow step on most of the time he does not flinch but normal atks (range) work somehow phase 2 ignor igris use his range attacks for shadow step do the same as phase 1 but try to get ult use shadow step and ult jin woo and it should be done
i use counter combo, so basically i just dodge and keep my distance until i run out of dash. i use counterattack skill (the dark rune) to stun him and shadow step him to continue with plum sword + scythe combo. once you get hit, he's gonna stun lock you until you can spam dash
Beat it at 70k using vacuum wave (commander's touch wind) and vertical arts. Commander's touch (vacuum wave) buffs vertical arts damage and vertical arts does 45% more damage to bosses. It was so easy, deleted his last 12 bars with one CT + VA combo. Weapons I used were Grimoire...didn't bother with my Plum at all. Kept my distance and always waited for my CT + VA skills to recharge.
Damn I just reach level 55 and finished job change but tried many times, cause I only have close range weapons such as scythe and plum. That SJW is such a hell in a pain through close combat🙃
No technique ,just brute forced it close range with Huntsman/scyth and a lot of dedication. Now waiting to get lvl 63 to progress the story. F2P all the way
Ngl i beat this completely opposite to how u did it. I brought alot of counters and couter skills, boss didnt even touch me. Weapons used were, west wind and the scythe.
This is indeed the strat if you have level the same weapons on the video, but if you leveled different weapons, then this video is useless. I would also like to add that if you do level these weapons now, it would take a whole lot of gold and materials so you better of experimenting what works for you with the current weapons that you have leveled up.
Good strat, sadly with my A0 (new) westwind I had to go bow&scythe as w/o scythe im so far from the 70k power. opening with the vert arts also allowed the arieal skill so the strat worked, just took some resets till i didnt get reck using scythe skill too many times.
Commander touch? I forgot what it's skill name which you can hold jinwoo for 4s + scythe full charge and west wind basic attack can knock out jinwoo too
Thanks a lot I just crossed the power requirement and will try out scythe and demon sword for Crit and shield counter i think they nerfed the fight this update so perhaps there’s some bugs.
Im 61 lvl and with huntsman a1 and west wind a1 lvl 60 both, i have 65,938 total power!! Wtf?! I don't understand! I have put 70 points to perception and all the rest to strength. Why i am so low in total power ? Im wearing the lion set, 2 pieces lvl 55 and 2 lvl 50 , and accessories i don't remember the name, but in set effects it says expert,all accessories lvl 50 , and all artifacts enchanted 15 to 18 not lower! So i don't get why i have lower power! I tried and reset the xp point and added them all to strength, instead 70 to perception and the rest strength, and turned out i had lower total power!!! I really don't get what's going on!!

This is for the players who can’t beat him with this strategy I’ll recommend you to another yt video where the play used the plum sword and ice grimoire I used the scythe and ice grimoire to beat Invasion is your best friend and so us space Anybody reply I’ll tell you in the comment

I was stubborn payne. I cleared this job change mission with scythe and moonshadow.
For me I just use countering skills like the jab one(?) idr the name, and the holded mutilate
i used 2 abilities that i could spam with the effect of them making me invincible + demon sword parry + ranged weapons
I beat him head on just by using skills like dark crushing blow good for counter attacking n wind armor break
Just cleared this level today, came here to see what I could've done better 😂

I beat this boss with West wind and a skill that has a counter move. The counter move is amazing to stun and also avoid the boss damage.
thats alot of work i standed front of him and spamed all my skills for 20 ~ 30 sec and he died =/

if you have moonshadow and scythe, just keep running and use shadow step everytime both skills ready should be done easy peazy

Ur substats bro. Are the full of atk% and additional ark? Do you have crit dmg and crit rate? Did u level up your weapon skills?

my strat was literally just commanders touch black hole, plum sword stacks and mutilate. worked pretty well honestly
oh yeah also demon long sword, the counters are so easy to get off here and really save a lot of hp if you dont go range tactics
