Her comment here, that she can't read Makoto at all, is passed by quickly but that's something she has _never_ seen before. A spoilery bit more below... . . . . Makoto definitely has some goals at this point (learn more about his parents, build up the demiplane, etc), so she should be able to sense _something_ off him. That she can't alludes to him not just being powerful but potentially a different type of being from everyone else.
This is the first glimpse showing that Emma is the main waifu , watches over home and keeping her mans in check whereas Tomoe and Mio are like two puppies they are struggling to train lol
I've a theory. You know how in some game systems if your damage is too high it can glitch and overflow past the maximum digit value back to 1. I think that's what happened to his level. As such he may be stuck at lvl 1. He may have transcended the level systems!
In season 2 They explain why some of the things "look" more high-tech in this world than they "normally" would've been so keep watching it might blow your mind if you don't figure it out already by then since you are pretty smart 😅
@3:00 this is so real, when the second season came out so many years after I'm like "when did this all happen, who is this, etc." My theory for the MC is he is so powerful he breaks the measure. Like how in systems if you go past the maximum it rolls you back to the start since it doesn't know how to process values higher than that. The people he met in this and previous episode don't really matter. The only ones you really need to remember are HIM, his monster allies. That's about it. There are some human recurring but nothing major. A couple of humans in the next season, but they'll have a feature that will make you know they need to be remembered. Jobs are also irrelevant. There are a lot mainly because the author isn't creating much structure in the "job / Level" system. Simply know who is stronger than who, who hits things, who casts magic, who does trade skills, that's about all you really need. Overlord is a bit like this as well with insane number of classes / jobs but not really much reason why they need such variety.
What happened at the end will make more since with the next episode. Glad to see you still enjoying the show, I love it myself and waiting for season three whenever they release it.

Also this ep is definitely meant to watch back to back with the next one lol with that ending. Really glad Neel likes Mio and Tomoe because they are honestly the best part of this show (for me) and Emma being a badass in the Demiplane is always fun to see.

All the people in the carriage are the people rescued by him in the process of rescuing the sister... we did see them the previous episode while he saved them. They were the sister's party, they had all been captured... It so happens that the anime always reduces a lot of content from light novels and sometimes from manga too...
I thought that they were just captives that were held in the same place. Then it was decided on the way to Tsige that they would form a party since they worked well together on the trip.
I don't know if anyone has commented on this anime. There's a reason why the protagonist doesn't hit on girls who give him the time of day. He realizes it, he knows it, but there's a reason. Later on, they'll comment on it and he will have "girlfriends"

the cards stuff are very annoyingly known in anime to make a fast and easy "game like" in moonlit they actually make me happy on how they handle the cards

Level is just a general estimate of power and doesn't necessarily represent combat ability, so it's hard to say which of the two is really stronger in those terms. Also keep in mind that the difference between levels decreases the higher you go, so the difference between 50 and 60 may be larger than the difference between 1400 and 1500. That said, Tomoe has been sleeping for a very long time and wasn't the strongest of the greater dragons to begin with. She's also lost her strongest ability and the reason she had the epithet "The Invincible", the ability to manipulate the demiplane against an enemy.

Spoiler: He had to put on 13 rings filled Makoto's mana while Makoto himself suppressed his own mana to even get the contract to the right balance. if not, Makoto would have just "adsorbed" him with nothing left.
