Kanani definitely looks different. This video really helped me be hopeful about my two dolls I just sent to the doll hospital. I’ve been watching videos all day about how they are gonna come back it’s a Saige and a JLY 21 which is the one I’m mainly concerned about but your video encouraged me that it’ll be okay when she comes back.
I got a 49 a few weeks ago and am in love with her. I love the dark hair bright eyes combo. Which is why Eric is my fave Disney Prince 😊 That Kanani definitely looks different but I’d expect that. She is still gorgeous! Love your channel!

Yes I truly believe they are aware that collectors want the limbs tight and they aren’t willing to do it! I think everyone should have a 49 in their collection she is so beautiful!!
Your 49 is beautiful and Kanani’s hair looks great! Last year I sent my PC Molly to the doll hospital to get her silver eyes replaced and AG did such a good job with with her.
Kanani is definitely different. I have an older one I got off Mercari and her skin tone is totally darker, and her face mold is much more round with slightly smaller eyes. Her hair looks like it’s also longer on the older version. I also loveeee #49, she’s a holy grail for me too. Congrats 🧸🙌🏻
I knew she looked differently than I remembered! I don’t like that they changed her skin tone! I hope you get a 49 for a great deal she is sooo pretty!!

Aww thank you my niece used to love the dolls she is now more into make up and Sephora but I have a bother niece who is two and she got her first doll for Christmas and she was so overjoyed so in a few years I’ll have another partner to take to the AG store and I can’t wait!
I don't get why they lightened Kanani's skin - they did that to Kaya too. I brought my 2004 Kaya to the AG store a putting her next to the display Kayas was eye opening.
How much is the doll hospital? Do they just refuse to tighten all limbs? I have childhood dolls with loose limbs, but I wouldn’t want them to replace the limbs because then they wouldn’t fully be my dolls, you know? 🙃
It’s 50 for limbs to be replaced I would say do it and just tell them you want them tight even though they will probably send back the message that they can’t my dolls are able to stand not as tight as I would like but not bad

They lightened her skin. I think mine has the skin tone similar to Lea Clark, not real dark but tanned if that makes sense.

You are correct Kanani's vinyl color has been changed.
