This would not work for a server gamemode. The hunted is too OP in this. Essentially if the hunted looks at you your dead since they can just walk up to you and hit you to death. Additionally, this supports lame tactics like camping nether portals or even camping the end platform. From a server perspective it's inefficient since you have to run a server with all three words for only 2 players (though maybe you could have multiple hunters). Another problem is that games would last a long time and people would probably leave. An optimized version for servers would likely look like uhc which there are already servers for. I think the games in these videos are fun, but require you to play them with friends who don't want to play super lame.
