    Nice to see the old Laguna Seca course again. The layout changed a year later. I always looked forward to TNN's American Sports Cavalcade every weekend. TNN was chalked full of great automotive shows. Love the old FORD commercials. I recall one of the corporate GM monster trucks circa 1986 had a bumper sticker reading ''Have You Driven Over A Ford Lately?'' Racing back in the day was way more exciting. Thanks for posting all these cool videos. Great memories rekindled.

    I used to see all the awesome!! Laguna Seca Raceway races from 1983 to about 1990 back than fun times!! tons have changed since the good ol 80's and 90's at Laguna Seca!

    Gotta love the difference 30 years makes! Notice the difference in vehicle engineering/styling? Notice the pit crews? No helmets, little protective gear at all.

    Laguna Seca was always lacking something until the infield section was added. Then it became a complete race course.

    isn't the driver in the pole positionallowed to determine the starting pace? No.2 has to stay with him, right?
