    I very much liked this style of educational questions/answers and learnt quite a bit from it. Was just surprised towards the end by the answer to the question ’do you drink (alcohol)’ and she actually answered ‘from time to time!’ And also suggested ‘having 2 beers’ in Kadıköy. I was shocked! For a ‘Muslim’ to not care that drinking is haram and totally forbidden was sad to hear!

    The language is so sweet… though I don’t understand it, it sounds good.. sounds similar to Farsi I think.

    • @masterc2091
      @masterc2091 Год назад +1

      No, Turkish and Farsi are two very different and different-sounding languages. Farsi is an Indo-Germanic language and Turkish belongs to the Altai language family. There are in both languages Turkish Persian and Arabic loanwords (influenced by Islam) that's all they have in common. Otherwise both languages sound completely different. Kurdish (Kurmanshi, Sorani and Zazaki) is more closely related to Farsi as both belong to the same language family.

      @@WME460 Urdu is related to Hindi and includes loanwords from Persian Arabic and Turkic (Karluk - Mughal Empire). In Turkey Turkish language there are no Urdu loan words rather loan words from Arabic and Persian language.

      its like a idiom you actually cant find time but its abstraction and like a idiom. If I find time then I can have time cuz I collect those. It makes me I have time. -ça, -çe makes this like "When". Perhaps I wont have time tomorrow but now I have time. It is what it is.

    • @crazy-yz4oz
      @crazy-yz4oz Год назад

      Also I suggest to you do not translate languages one to another so much it will make you confused and you wont be able to feel the language its own. Dont forget. Learn language in the language. It is hard but right way.

    Can someone give an example, how would they say their phone number?

    So one needs to create that other part in Enlgish and then mix it with your audio. Quite a job.
