  • Come along on a visit to this remarkable Northwest Florida swimming hole! Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is home to a stunning natural spring that flows at a year-round temperature of 68 degrees.
Ponce de Leon Springs is in Northwest Florida - affectionally called the Florida Panhandle - in Ponce de Leon which is on both I-10 and US 90 about halfway between Tallahassee and Pensacola. The park features the beautiful Florida spring which is noted for swimming, splashing, sightseeing, and crystal clear cold water. It also offers hiking trails, nature, picnic areas, and other recreational opportunities. Camping is available at nearby Falling Waters State Park.
Legend holds that the spring is the westernmost in Florida visited by the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon in search of the Fountain of Youth. While that may not be true, Ponce de Leon Springs does have a rich history and is spectacularly beautiful. Learn more in this great video from ‪@TwoEggTV‬!
