It’s interesting to hear all these opinions about a topic that at the time, we were so wrong about. It’s great insight to the way people react based on emotion, and information handed down by a system at this point, proven to be misleading and down right deceiving.
It's just so hard for non-newyorky people to understand him. I love this show, and I don't think it would've been as good with a bunch of ron whites and jeff foxworthy's on there, but I gotta admit as a mid-america rube I feel like these guys are always on a different vibe than me. East coast people are all sort of non-american-seeming to the rest of the country. All new-arrivals and old-country allegiances.
@@prestonbane4176 I dun no but I can tell you that as a guy who was raised in the mid-west by parents that were both raised in NYC, I always find them every bit as funny as someone like Drew Carey. I can't say much for Jeff Foxworthy but I absolutely love Ron White.
Greetings from 2018. It turns out the Iraq War went quite well. We went in, got it done in 2 months, and brought our troops home. There has been peace in Iraq for 16 years now. :)
her whole schtick is being a jewess, So what else has witchipoo got but nasal whining? She should be put down ( humanely) the moment she winds up with a whine
We both love Patrice. I've gotten hours upon hours of entertainment off him. Just don't really agree with you that he was ever bothered by racist jokes, or even if he was, that it means people should not make them. Patrice always defended the right for people to say that kind stuff. Look at his stance on the Dom Imus thing. Either way, to each their own, and at least we're united in our love of Patrice. Glad there's still hundreds of hours of shit he's done I haven't seen/listened to yet.
14:28 lolol im lmao. Especially his reaction " Nothing " it was a realy good joke but it was funnier when he got no response. Its like the crowd is unedjawmacaded
watching a decade and a half later is so bitter "do you think theres gonna be more or less terrorism?" i dont know collin, tough question ya got there buddy
If that show were only Quinn, Nick, Norton, and O'Neal it would be just perfect. And a couple times Louis CK showed he was pretty great but he sharpened his humor later on.
I read your comment before watching and thought maybe you were exaggerating, but as soon as she spoke, I had to pause it and tell you you were right. God-DAMN!
I don't think you were listening to what Patrice said. The obvious conclusion is the war is wrong. Patrice is saying that's what America has been doing for at least 70 years. He's accepted the truth of what the US is, where Jim David thinks we're a benevolent nation.
Your case is moot, because Patrice and the other guys didn't just appear on Tough Crowd. Listen to shit like Opie & Anthony and come back to me. These were comics that came up together, hung out together, used to brutally riff on eachother in the Comedy Cellar and stuff. They were literally FRIENDS. They appeared on Tough Crowd because they were FRIENDS with Colin Quinn. He didn't just arbitrarily pick them out of a hat.
Damn the chemistry within that crowd is kinda off. The whole vibe is just so aggressive from the get-go. Edit: Damn, that 'thank you, sir' from patrice was off ttm.
Funny thing is this show gets more views on youtube than it did when it was on cable. Maybe it was on the wrong network. Maybe it was before it's time..
RIP Patrice, best comic in at least the last 40 years. Jim David... uhg, it should've been you. (Sarah Silverman would be so awesome, if she'd just keep her mouth shut.)
Not sure what you're trying to prove here? We all know Patrice was great. So was Greg Giraldo, though. Who was also considered one of the best and smartest comedians around. Watch the Tough Crowd episode where he takes on Denis Leary. A classic.
Nick DiPaolo's 'racism' is just his bit, not how he really feels. Him and O'Neal (and Collin) were friends in real life, like alot of the central comics on this show. Everywhere I've seen them come together there's always brutal racist jokes aimed at making eachother laugh. Often O'Neal laughed the hardest.
It’s unfortunate that all of these tough crowd clips are such poor quality. They are basically the original podcast. Talking about things you couldn’t hear anywhere else
They all look like total jackasses now, except the old white guy. They were all dead wrong about Iraq, and clearly knew extremely little about history and geopolitics
Hah for all the sins of this industry, it's great that people won't kiss the sexy chick's ass for having good looks. Still, I think Sarah is pretty funny.
I predict that "Tough Crowd " with Colin Quinn will be second only to WTF with Marc Maron in the distant future. Two different shows , both having had great dialogue .
I have a deep love for Patrice just openly laughing as someone bombs or just talking hacky shit
It’s interesting to hear all these opinions about a topic that at the time, we were so wrong about. It’s great insight to the way people react based on emotion, and information handed down by a system at this point, proven to be misleading and down right deceiving.
lol Colin is always trying to make clever jokes but nobody ever gets the references, so many bombs
+Paul Thoresen yea this one was aspecially bad though he kills it mostly
He's still so good though despite all his flaws like how he trips over his words and shit.
All new-arrivals and old-country allegiances.
he's actually so good but people are so dumb and he's a comic's comic
@@prestonbane4176 I dun no but I can tell you that as a guy who was raised in the mid-west by parents that were both raised in NYC, I always find them every bit as funny as someone like Drew Carey. I can't say much for Jeff Foxworthy but I absolutely love Ron White.
The look Nick gives Patrice at 6:07 was better than any joke he could have made.
Haha it's a great "this fucking guy" look.
13thFloor Haha, took me a second to see the face, hilarious.
"look at me I know politics"
This is why I read the comments, to pick up on these subtleties. Patrice's chuckle in response to Nick's look was great too.
Lmao! To me it seemed more like "Oh look, woman's opinion incoming."
Greetings from 2018. It turns out the Iraq War went quite well. We went in, got it done in 2 months, and brought our troops home. There has been peace in Iraq for 16 years now. :)
Omg!!!! #libertarian4life
Khechari And hardly any brown people died!
"good one, Paul Lynde"
Patrice and Di paolo are the funny ones . Collin is so clumsy with his delivery and body language but I like him in the show. Thanks for the upload!
MY GOD SARAH SILVERMAN HAD THE WHINIEST VOICE!
victomba had?
victomba I heard 'nyyyyyehhhhh' and thought yeuch who the fuck it tha-oh I like her
+victomba
Immediate stop and find something else... :)
so fucking douchey and annoying!
her whole schtick is being a jewess, So what else has witchipoo got but nasal whining?
She should be put down ( humanely) the moment she winds up with a whine
I was hoping the David was Mr. Larry.
3:02 "that was your manager!"🤣
this was possibly the best show ever created long live patrice!
I fucking miss this show. :(
Before my time but dang I’m binge watching! Too much pussyfooting around nowadays but I’m glad to have just now stumbled upon it!
2:48 HAHAHAHA Patrice's face scrunch. He hates Jim David.
"Who the fuck are you nigga?"
Colin is awesome. if only he had coughed up that smegma...
We both love Patrice. I've gotten hours upon hours of entertainment off him. If Jim David had wooden teeth he could be a George Washington impersonator.
those jokes toward the end bombed SO HARD hahahahaha
Patrice is wearing a crips picnic blanket for a shirt
Dave Bryan Are you about a size fourteen?
99tubalcain ma bitch is
Lamar And Ms. Chipperson Wait, is your bitch a great big fat person?
99tubalcain she da big bitch I got my arms around
LOL What Lotion?
David brings this show to a screeching halt...each and every time he decides to chime in...truly a fail
it is amazing how some panels just don't have the right chemistry. That is totally the case with this combination of people.
Please bring this show back
Silverman is clearly baked.
14:28 lolol im lmao. Especially his reaction " Nothing " it was a realy good joke but it was funnier when he got no response. Its like the crowd is unedjawmacaded
"You can speak to Guinea for us."
watching a decade and a half later is so bitter "do you think theres gonna be more or less terrorism?"
i dont know collin, tough question ya got there buddy
Sarah sounded like Janice from Friends. "OH MAI GAWD!"
Man Patrice did not like the dude sitting next to him...
Love Sarah Silverman's voice.... said no one ever..
That's why they hired her for the voice in Disney movies.
I find this un-PC humour so refreshing in 2017.
Sarah Silverman is hot.
Many people won't even know this was taped on a vcr
Whts a vcr, is it like dvr???
;)
Is Silverman doing an impersonation of Rosanne the whole time?
+Rae Lee she's high as fuck
ross vandenberg
She sucks...
A bad one
If that show were only Quinn, Nick, Norton, and O'Neal it would be just perfect. And a couple times Louis CK showed he was pretty great but he sharpened his humor later on.
I read your comment before watching and thought maybe you were exaggerating, but as soon as she spoke, I had to pause it and tell you you were right. God-DAMN!
shocking how little they know about the world around them..
Angela Benedetto They dont have to be ambassadors to have a cursory understanding of the world. They have to be dumb not to.
wow in her younger days Sarah Silverman was a cutie pie
And she wasn’t even young here. She was in her mid 30’s.
I don't think you were listening to what Patrice said. The obvious conclusion is the war is wrong. Patrice is saying that's what America has been doing for at least 70 years. He's accepted the truth of what the US is, where Jim David thinks we're a benevolent nation.
Everyone who cheerleads for war should be air dropped to the front line, immediately.
If that were the policy, there would be no war.
Table for 8 was a good line

Funny thing is this show gets more views on youtube than it did when it was on cable. Maybe it was on the wrong network. Maybe it was before it's time..
Sarah Silverman sounds just like Janis Joplin right before she died.
RIP Patrice, best comic in at least the last 40 years. Jim David... uhg, it should've been you. (Sarah Silverman would be so awesome, if she'd just keep her mouth shut.)
Jesus 😆
Jesus. That first sentence from Sarah made me clench my teeth in embarrassment.
'Jim, you wanna finish us off?' aahahaha, Colin.
haha Patrice is disgusted sitting next to that dude the entire episode haha -- best summed up with the face at 12:54
Holy shit Sarah Silverman was baked
Not sure what you're trying to prove here? We all know Patrice was great. So was Greg Giraldo, though. Who was also considered one of the best and smartest comedians around. Watch the Tough Crowd episode where he takes on Denis Leary. A classic.
This shows how fallacious thinking was at the time, now that time's passed and it's been fairly well established that Saddam had no involvement.
Nick is hilarious
Wow how times have changed
jim davis "this is our little secret" wtf ...
no wonder this show isnt on anymore
vhs?
Patrice was very uncomfortable in this episode
yea he was off
It’s that tiny chair he is wedged into
patrice wised up in the years after this, right?
+heiferwhinescouldbehumancries off-day
Nick and Patrice should be the only ones talking
Nick DiPaolo's 'racism' is just his bit, not how he really feels. Him and O'Neal (and Collin) were friends in real life, like alot of the central comics on this show. Everywhere I've seen them come together there's always brutal racist jokes aimed at making eachother laugh. Often O'Neal laughed the hardest.
Colin Quinn doesn't do sentences, it's just one long word.
Colin is dope; but yeah, that segment that started at 13:40 was a dud
Man, Patrice is struggling in that chair. Should've given him the couch.
i think norm is great, too. pretty sure he did tough crowd a few times
11:40.
Colin finally got his show at Barrow Street. He is performing his one-man show 'Unconstitutional' over there right now.
Silverman did a lot better when she stopped getting high
People of peace
It’s unfortunate that all of these tough crowd clips are such poor quality. They are basically the original podcast. Talking about things you couldn’t hear anywhere else
Great upload, fixthe tracking 😀
Does he have a ridiculous lisp or is it just the bad sound quality?
people saying sarah silverman is not funny are out of their mind.. that 4th act 18:38
Mehhh
Interesting that they say Saddam's own people should snuff him out and that is exactly what ended up happening.
keep war were it belongs. too true
Sarah is so damn cute
Wow , love Patrice and of course hindsight is 20/20 but wow was he wrong about terrorist taking over Iraq
i mean. were prob the biggest terrorists on earth so, maybe not wrong technically😅
Oh, and O'Neal has picked on plenty of races.
@BlackMalukuFlames
Yeah, nice comeback.
This is embarrassing because I know Patrice would look at me with the same disgust like he was looking at those two if I told my best joke
if the rich actually sent there kids over seas, that would change how war is conducted.
"The center square today, Mr.Jim David"
"Yes."
Patrice is never not hilarious
I feel like it's obvious why they cancelled this show. Too many non-liberals on this show. It's not what Hollywood and TV is about.
They all look like total jackasses now, except the old white guy. They were all dead wrong about Iraq, and clearly knew extremely little about history and geopolitics
I don’t think it had so much to do with that as much as it not having a good core audience. I feel like this show was just ahead of its time.
Yo, the Lindbergh baby joke by Jim was solid.
After reading the title I thought it'd be Larry David, but ugh...
what are you table for eight?- i died
Still a great fucking show
Di Paola is the sharpest!
Jim David was on this show so much so that a mediocre gay comic could be the straw-man for liberals.
Jabba the comic. Haha.
yep, they should put it away before anyone sees.
I'm surprised why Patrice O'Neal didn't do anything to Sarah?
It’s our little secret haha
Hah for all the sins of this industry, it's great that people won't kiss the sexy chick's ass for having good looks. Still, I think Sarah is pretty funny.
God Sarah Silvermans voice is like nails on a chalkboard
I bet patrice regretted this after the fact... He made up for it before he shuffled off the mortal coil.though.
Damn when Silverman was still funny
Everyone always confuses Buddai with Buddha.
I predict that "Tough Crowd " with Colin Quinn will be second only to WTF with Marc Maron in the distant future. Two different shows , both having had great dialogue .
What's with the guy next to Patrice O'Neal? The Jim David guy, he got a bit too malicious with his jokes, ruined the vibe of the show.
He's gay, so, he gets a bit catty and is sensitive.
I thinks its the set in a way. Too lit. It seems different
Where is the pool table for collin's asshole
Its the fucking crowd
smartest, probably. funniest? no freakin' way
pretty sure he meant that she was a talent vacuum.
