- I found this phonograph in trash. There is no mark on box, just on sound arm and mehanism. Under mechanism is some kind of a signature or stamp mark. I searched the internet, but I havent found nothing identical what I have. So maybe it is rebuild from other parts. Please comment if you know the age, model and rarity. Is this stuff collectible? It needs a little bit restoration...

Glad you rescued this - yes they are collectable. This one looks pretty beat up, but also looks complete which is a real bonus. I've not seen one of this brand though I do recognise the label on the motor from records from the late 1920s. The soundbox on the end of the metal arm looks 1920s also. The turntable should rotate at about 78rpm, but looks like it was going too fast. The circular dial in the bottom right is the speed control. It's really a brake which just slows the motor down. If you can get an old 78 record give it a go however place the needle down on the right side of the record, not the left. This stops the needle digging in and ruining it. One of the steel bands which holds a governor weight looks to have come adrift, hence why the speed governor does not work. also, the lever to the governor control isn't fixed to the knob, so there's a bit of work to be done!
