After watching hours of reviewers post about the best fragrances out there I bought 50 fragrances in bottles, decants and samples and cedrat boise is my no. 1 just unfortunate that it's no longer beast mode like it was back in the day, Dior Homme Parfum, Prada L'homme Intense, Sauvage and Ultra Male outlast Cedrat Boise by a lot.
awesome list. agree re: cédrat boisé. not only does it have the performance to write home about, it's a great scent. yes, somewhat similar to aventus, but no clone by any stretch of imagination
Our Man from U.N.C.L.E. back at it again. Another great video. Might want to drop Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui somewhere in there. Hard classic, affordable, strong, lasting and masculine. Clocked in over 7 hours and still projecting and leaving a scent trail.

Great video! I have four fragrances in my small collection that I'd call beastmode. The three designer Dior Parfum's, and Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male. That last one happens to be eau de toilette! Favorite is probably Dior Fahrenheit Parfum. I will be going on a short skiing trip and am planning on bringing Eau Sauvage Parfum with me, I think it will be so nice to wear while out in the snow!!
Because you have an expert nose and are well respected within this community. I have a question for you. Next year I will be attending 2 weddings one in the spring and another in the summer. What fragrance. will you suggest for each occasion.

Definitely give Satin Mood a good wearing though, I'm very certain it'll make at least number 2 or 3 on that list. 1 spray truly last forever. 2 spray is considered harassment by law lol.

For some reason DHP does not perform on me at all, i have a genuine bottle but it's a skin scent after an hour and no one has ever noticed it when I've worn it, i go hard on the trigger too, like 6 or 7 around the neck, I need to check out bois du portugal again too if it's strong juice. The strongest frag i own is probably pardon, the profumum roma frags are seriously beastly too, i need to try more of those for sure.
One of my favourite beast mode fragrance is Hard Leather by LM Parfums: a truly wonderful gourmand and well balanced leather scent. It's a extrait de parfum concentration and lasts for ages, projects wonderful without being annoying and gives pleasant whiffs all day. It's a pity nobody talks about it and I can't find any reviews on RUclips. Could you please consider trying it?
Personally, I never want to wear a fragrance that fills a bar, or even a room. It can be offensive and seem far too needy and attention-seeking. Smelling pleasant is an aspect of me, but I don't want it to define me! You list some really great frags but I'd be careful in sprays with everyone of them. Try sunshine man by amouage. I like the opening of that scent but the dry down gets so linear it gives me a headache because of how strong nd polarizing it is. Probably the strongest scent I've tried. Nd I've tried 80 percent of this list. Like to be honest it's lasted me 20 hours easily. I sprayed it on after my shower and I still smelled it on me the next morning waking up after the whole day. Two sprays. Again I can't stand the linear dry down so it's not that I even like it. But others love this fragrance. I just got a spray sample from a decant site so no money wasted on a full bottle which is beautiful btw.
I recently found my Cedrat Boise opened insade the box aka the sprayer is screw off that i did not know unfortunately and the juice evaporated. Lost almost 50ml to because of cluncky sprayer. Great scent, but i aint never returning to Mancera again.
I bought Armaf Futura La Homme as an alternative to Dior Homme Intense/Parfum...I honestly think Armaf out performs it, would love your take on it..Have you tried Futura La Homme? I highly recommend it...up there with CDNIM from the Armaf range
one shop in London sells cedrat Boise Selfridges. but I had a bad experience with mine. it leaked as the atomizer is screwed onto the bottle and the cap screws onto the atomizer so when I took the screw cap off the atomizer came off the bottle and the juice went everywhere
excellent review mate .. only problem i had was i was eating whilst watching and that urinal cake really put me off my food 😑 .. great list though , a bit outdated that the usual however very classy and elegant choices

Beast mode in terms of longevity or sillage? One doesn’t equal another, obviously. Tobacco Vanille has outstanding longevity but projection is weak and if you overspray TV it changes character for the worse and you still don’t get the sillage you want. There are many videos on youtube about longevity but none about sillage / projection only. A lot of people would probaby find it interesting to see how some of the fragrances considered beasts perform sillage-wise. You’d probably need a few test subjects, one group to wear the fragrances and the other to smell. And there’d have to be a control group, people wearing nothing to check for placebo effect, delusions etc. And a good measuring instrument to determine which designer and which nichee fragrance projects the furthest.

Thanks a lot Edwin. Your approach is probably correct. Most of these frags can be applied lightly for a more modest effect.
