The Ojay's got all their smooth moves from legendary dance choreographer Cholly Atkins. He taught a lot of the singers how to move with precision, balance, control, and focus. He also taught the Temptations, The Four Tops, just to name a few.

People cared more about each other than they do now. 60's 70's & 80's were just an incredible time. The only thing that's incredible in these days & times is technology, other than that, it's a very serious cold world

    --------
    Year:
    1976
    -------
    Album:
    Message In The Music
    -----------
    Side Note:
    Original member
    William Powell had
    been diagnosed with
    colon cancer,
    and he also had a
    bad drug addiction.
    So since this sidelined him,
    Eddie and Walter replaced him
    with Sammy Strain,
who is in the video lip-syncing
    William’s part.
William was still well enough to record,
    but this album
“Message In The Music” which was released in 1976,
would be the last album he sang on.
He died the next year on
    May 26th,1977
    at the age of 35.
Sammy Strain became the full replacement,
and the first album he recorded with
Eddie and Walter was the follow up album
“Travelin At The Speed Of Thought” which was also released in 1977,
and had the hit R&B single
    “Work On Me”.
