And they keep on doing tremendously excellent work for years together. But after many years due to extra burden of work they split into two teams. S.J team was splitted in S.S and J.J teams. Shankar from Shankar Jaikishan was tied up with Shailendra and Jaikishan was tied up with Jaipuri(Hasrat). All this on the behest of their Director, Mentor and friend Raj Kapoor. Mukesh was always there for all of them and the team did lots of worthy works till 1966, i.e the death of Kavi Raaj Shailendra that to on the very birthday of Raj Kapoor. Aur fir sara nizaam badalta sa gaya.

Was rafi a better singer than mukesh answer is no both were equally good but rafi got maximum songs due to muslim polarisation

When this song was released in 1958 it becomes very popular in parties wherever Jaikishan goes people used to chase him by sayingMain Nashe Mein hu. of course Jaikishan used to drink heavily in those days in Bollywood parties.so it was a fitting comment on Jaikishan saab though he never liked this.
