I quit camping a few years ago. Too many weird people encounters as well as bears and cougars. No camping unless in a nice, big camper with a firearm 😅
Also the guy sees someone shining a flashlight and couldn't think of anything else to do except call out to the person... Um no. Turn your vehicle on and squeal outta there, that was an option. It's definitely an option.
@batchagaloopytv5816 just like the ppl who are "ghost hunters" freak tf out if anything even remotely paranormal happens, even though they're "hunting" for that type of thing.
lol was about to drop the same exact comment. “The just don’t want them to see where I’m going.” Well you should probably turn your fucking light off and stop talking. Starting a fire probably wasn’t the best idea either. I’m surprised she had the brain power to finally get up and leave.
yeah it definitely seems like a person who could've taken their dog on a walk at night and shone the light specifically because they thought it may have been a corpse or somethin
Man I can tell you there’s no better feeling than sitting in my bed with a blanket watching this video instead of camping in a sketchy city with 500 gangs
Same. It’s like 5 degrees out there and the streets are covered with snow. Most of the east coast in the US experienced a really bad snowstorm recently. I’m in my bed under two blankets watching this video. Lowkey feel bad for the homeless that have to survive out there in this weather.
Hahahahahhaha like hes the one to get away from bros sleeping like a baby in the middle of the night pitch black like nothings wrong hahahha i wouldnt want to talk to him either
to be fair, id say its probably more dangerous in the US where you can be held at gun point. as a brit, id way rather fight off a knife attacker than be shot at XD
I’m going to be honest, if I was walking through the woods and accidentally came across some dude minding his own business camping and I woke up them up, I’d be too embarrassed to reply and just walk off lmao
I feel like when out in the woods it’s important to sound confident in your voice while also assuring the individual that you’re not there for malicious intent, perhaps a “I’m stealth camping, so I’m harmless if you are mate” could be enough to deescalate the situation, I know I would have 😅
Yeah tbh being in the hood is safer than an isolated rural area. In an urban area you can have a relatively quick response from police, (compared to being in fucking no where) also there’s usually locations within urban areas locals know are for the homeless and will leave alone. Unused utility roads and side streets. Worse case scenario police ask you to move your car.
@TheSpecter4567 did the op explicitly say that they were in the hood? Or was he making an assumption based on the music choice they were hearing? I hear rap, and I tell them to turn that shit up lol id feel right at home, shit lol
@trucoomccoo I think he was making an assumption from the music he heard. For all we know it’s just an urban area that likes rap music. I don’t recall the location he mentioned but my point was that even if you were in the hood its still safer than being in an isolated area where literally anything could happen without police being able to assist you. (Or anyone for that matter.)
Woman: "Why are there kids playing in the cemetery at night?" Kids: "Why is there a woman camping in the cemetery at night?" Me: "Why is ANYBODY in the cemetery at night?!"
First, that cemetery isnt abandoned. The grass is kept up. Secondly, I grew up next to a cemetery borderng our yards that was from the late 1700s. We grew up in a city and didnt have any parks around so we spent most our time hanging out and playing in the cemetery even when young. It wasnt unusual to be hanging out in the cemetery or playing games like release or tag. This was also the 80s and 90s and we didnt have phones with lights nor carried flashlights. It doesn't look like the kids are trashing the cemetery or pushing headstones over as most of those look like ours where they naturally fell or broke. Just kids being kids and having fun.
also, why are kids in the middle of the night more scary than adults? I think maybe they aren't to be expected and can be truly unpredictable. Ye, the fire was a stupid idea.
I'm not trying to blame the last girl or anything but why on earth would you start a fire and basically send out smoke signals and light to people who are screaming in a cemetery at night
@butterfly2218 should be about as safe a place as one could find to camp. Generally, there aren't kids playing and folks out for midnight walks in cemetaries. 😂
Right? I especially couldn't believe Daniel in the 3rd video wasn't sleeping in his car, or even a tent. He had virtually nothing between himself and the lantern guy (or wild animals, for that matter), so he's lucky the dude just turned away and left, leaving him time to get out of there.
It would be quite fun but i agree id be a bit too on edge especially alone id definately have a weapon on hand but if i had to sleep in a vehicle all the time id try sleep daytime hours and be awake at night
@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRoseim not sure he had been seen because his tent was so descreet low profile and its green all i can think is he was seen earlier and was being watched
I couldn't agree more. They are way too trusting. I think if you're going to be doing any form of camping you should have at least a knife or even better a firearm.
Oh, the kids 100% thought she was a ghost btw. Surpised no one has said this. Youre with your friends in a cemetery and you see a pale skinned woman walking around at midnight? Absolutely a ghost... 👻
Occam's Razor is your best friend in these. Someone was walking their dog, saw a tent, and wondered if it had been left behind. They realized there was a person in there and were too embarrassed to respond.
Imagine being attacked with bricks in the middle of nowhere at night and your first reaction is to get out and film, rather than immediately drive away
And there I was, in the middle of nowhere in the woods. And this thing, almost humanoid, which was somehow hidding inside an abandoned van, it actually SPOKE to me in a growley, animal voice. I said f this!
@AlanaBananaCanada he set out to camp at night in the middle of the woods, completely alone. This guy is the real menace. We just fell for his lure POV
It's not like this shit isn't low effort enough. It might as well be AI. There's no original content here. These channels are dudes that just read shit off of Reddit. There's no real work that goes into this.@ataridc
Yeah and he says that the person turned the light off after being called out when you can literally see in the video that the person kept the light on but is just walking in a different direction. What almost definitely happened was that a person was walking through the woods, saw a tent, and then when they realized a person was in the tent they felt awkward about it and wanted to avoid a confrontation.
probably a land owner out checking on who the guy in the woods he saw earlier was.. hence the dog and huge flashlight, is wierd though to watch him sleep that long and not even talk to him about it.. like if a land owner cares that much to go find him why not even say hello. But yeah i doubt its some random 2am woodland killer
Imagine walking your dog at night enjoying the quiet when some random dude parked off the walking trail starts yelling hi at you out of his creepy dark van😂😂 Id turn around too lol
@T@TimTebonerYes, looked harmless to me. Still if you are afraid, just drive away. No need to stay there and wait until something unpredictable happens.
10:00 imagine watching another video about a guy’s terrifying experience of walking around the woods at night and hearing a “hello” from the darkness 😂
So many of these commenters have apparently never gone hiking. Imagine it is nighttime, you’re tired and looking for a camp site. You see something in the distance. What is that? A tent? You shine your light on it, trying to make it out, walking closer. Someone calls out. You realize it’s someone campsite and you just woke someone up by walking around and flashing your light around like a doofus. You mumble “sorry” and turn around and leave.
It's incredible how timid some people are. That car would be doing the speed limit in a school zone, but apparently noisy car = OUT OF CONTROL GANGMEMBERS!!!
My Optima has a massive hole around the ignition switch. Coupled with the fact I've found broken glass on the floor makes me almost certain at some point it was stolen and then returned back to its owner.
@23345star ''....i-i-s that g-gangster rap I am hearing? and a clapped out Fiat Punto with a hole in the exhaust going 20 mph? shit, I better get outta here''
4:20 "Series of red flags, like people riding around blaring gangster rap from a speaker" thats just normal in literally any place with more than 5 people lmao
8:55 The fact they didn't react at all to someone saying hello in the middle of the night in the woods is worrisome on its face. I would die of fright if I'm on a night hike and get a random greeting from the darkness.
Someone walking their dog at night, lowkey sure they might have found someone potentially dead or something because they've been watching camping horror stories...
If I came across something that(in the dark) looks to me like a body bag. THEN I hear a slightly panicked “Hello?” I would freeze for a good MINUTE. whoever that was that found them, probably just some random person on a hike idk. i would also stop out of being confused turn heel and shut off the light IMMEDIATELY.
Yeah right I would be too terrified to say anything and high tail it out of there. Are you kidding me? I’m not gonna engage with no strange voice coming from darkness in the woods
Most people tend not to engage and/or completely ignore homeless folks. If a person was walking their dog and stumbled upon what they thought was a homeless camp, it wouldn't be surprising at all for them not to respond. Especially if they realized they were disturbing someone sleeping.
Cemetarys are a+ for stealth camping free water and sometimes even electricity and you can scare the fk out of people walking by if youre smart about it.
its why I dont put sunshades up anymore. its a dead giveaway someones sleeping in a car. the guy who camps behind signs and in a pallet trailer (whatever his name is) is a real stealth camper.
Hello everyone! It is me Dan from this video! It is great seeing all your comments, yes I know I'm a fool! Glad people have enjoyed my little adventure though!
glad youre safe man, even if you did make a foolish decision me and probably a lot of other people are glad youre safe and probably learned from that experience!
I'd day Daniel was the scary one lol. You're walking your dog in the woods at night and it finds something, you try to shine your light through the brush and a random voice from the darkness says "Hello". Yeah I'd probably disappear without saying a word too...
Last woman is crazy for choosing an abandoned cemetery to stealth camp. That's usually a prime spot for trouble makers to hang out. Edit: Also wtf! She's already on edge about some random people potentially following her and she still decide to start a campfire in the dark!?
Yeah first thing I thought. Camping alone as a woman is already dangerous enough, now she's doing it in a cemetery after dark and then she starts a camp fire after she knows people are following her. Does this chick have zero common sense?
The whooping sound that she said was like kids hollering, sounded like normal animal forest sounds. I hear them in the forest right next to my house. Also, there was no actual footage of "the kids" or do we hear the sounds of them "talking." I think last one was a bit exaggerated? Maybe ill do a rewatch lol
Air horn. Scares the hell out of anything and anyone. I highly recommend carrying one in situations where you are alone, because nearby witnesses will also be able to hear you!!!
Sweet jeebus some of you must be scared of your own shadows. Statistics do not back up your claim. Most people are killed by people they know. Pretty sure you're more likely to be killed in a mass shooting in the US than get killed out on your own somewhere. Not to mention half of these were in parking lots and weren't even dangerous encounters. Heck the one guy that soiled his underroos over "gangster rap" and "street racers" probably just encountered some dogging enthusiasts checking if someone was prepping for a show/audience.
There are plenty of serial killers who go to remote places to find victims. Go to a hospital parking lot and park in the Emergency Room parking lot. Lighting and security. People working all shifts.
yeah I imagine the person was pretty scared. just taking a walk with your dog, you see some stuff on the ground in the distance and suddenly someone says hello.
So the guy in the sleeping bag in the woods heard twigs breaking saw a light pointed at him and his strategy was to hide under the blanket and keep calm? Man’s got the survival skills of a potato. If that person had bad intent he would’ve been dead.
How stupid you have to be to go to sleep in a car so you can see for yourself if a city known for being extremely dangerous is in fact dangerous?! 🤦🏻♀️
Remember in the horror movies when people make dumb decisions and don't make it? Yup that's the girl in the last video with a survival instinct of a cucumber😂
I think a key thing to remember about the UK (mainly England) is that wild camping of any kind is illegal. The man with the flashlight in the woods probably wasn't expecting to see someone sleeping, and was himself probably worried about who it might be. The guy going to the 'worst town' is just daft, as white vans usually contain valuable tools and are common targets of theft globally, not just England, so he should really know better.
It's not really illegal, it's a civil offense, so if caught they can ask you to move. They cannot charge you with anything unless you do not comply with a police order to move, or are trespassing on private land.
@VVՏPetram seems pretty offended, they have 9 comments on this video and all of them are replying to comments mentioning the racing cars and loud music lmao
Sounds like these stealth campers have the same thirst for death as cave explorers that need to squeeze through small holes or scuba dive into deep tunnels.
Coming from the city (montreal)... it depends on what kind of music is bring blared out and what time of night. Blasting gangster rap at 2 am is "hoodlum" behavior here in montreal.
There isn’t a nice area in the world where people are blasting loud music or street racing. If those are common in your area I guarantee crime is also high
Daniels encounter was most likely just both of them being scared from being found in the middle of the woods at night. Dont stealth camp unless you got a strap
The last woman shouldn't have been camping in a graveyard of all things. Not because it was spooky, but because you should let the dead rest in peace. And then to light a fire after she knew there were people in the area? Zero survival instincts.
It’s in my city (Vancouver) we have coyotes but the cemetery isn’t really close to any forest or woods, it’s sitting in the middle of the city but who knows
Hello. As a mobile contractor, I’m on the road camping 80% of the time. I highly suggest that before even thinking about stealth camping, you work on your rig's engine transmission, suspension tires and wheels, brakes external locks, windowless van, if not tinted windows, and safety weapon.
"A few blokes with hoods pulled down and armed, you wouldn't have stood a chance" some people whisper that having your hood pulled down can cause a .22 to leave the barrel with the same amount of energy as a 50 BMG.. others insist a hood can give a $20 gas station knife the edge of a lightsaber... truly deadly hoods indeed
Imagine the other persons view from the 3rd video. You're just walking your dog or taking a walk late at night and suddenly you hear weird noises coming from the darkness beside you (cameraman sleeping or moving around). You point your flashlight toward the sound but you don't see anything. Then you start hearing faint whispering and more scuffling. You're too scared to move until you hear, "hello?" From the darkness.
Now imagine both of you are filming for RUclips shorts. Two creepers passing in the night. One whispering hello, the other whispering sponsored by Raycon
The flashlight one is probably just some dude with insomnia going for a late night walk, spots something out of place and decides to investigate just to be greeted by a polite “Hello” which is scarier then an angry response when your alone in the woods IMO. Probably said “Nope ive seen this movie ima ignore the wood demon and walk away”
"Why would anybody be in the middle of the woods at night!?" - Guy who is in the middle of the woods at night
I quit camping a few years ago. Too many weird people encounters as well as bears and cougars. No camping unless in a nice, big camper with a firearm 😅
exactly im so tired of hearing people in the " secluded" woodsfreak out when another human is seen in the same area😂😂😂😂
😂
“I think they know I’m here..” says the random person shining a light in their own face, talking to a camera in the dark. You don’t say.
lol was about to drop the same exact comment.
“The just don’t want them to see where I’m going.”
Well you should probably turn your fucking light off and stop talking. Starting a fire probably wasn’t the best idea either. I’m surprised she had the brain power to finally get up and leave.
That third video the guy was 100% more scared about hearing a “hello” in the woods than you were of him
yeah it definitely seems like a person who could've taken their dog on a walk at night and shone the light specifically because they thought it may have been a corpse or somethin
It seemed to be the figure of a female so even more reason for them not to respond
thats what im saying
Anything can happen anywhere, anytime at the least moment expected in this crazy, crazy world
Yeah I would definitely think it's a skin walker or some shit hahaha we were told to NOT respond and leave immediately by social media
Man I can tell you there’s no better feeling than sitting in my bed with a blanket watching this video instead of camping in a sketchy city with 500 gangs
Stop exaggerating, there's only 497 gangs in that city.
@Mehiel-Sanctoriahahaha😊
U know I love beat g their ass I love going out and just whooping. Them
Same. It’s like 5 degrees out there and the streets are covered with snow. Most of the east coast in the US experienced a really bad snowstorm recently. I’m in my bed under two blankets watching this video. Lowkey feel bad for the homeless that have to survive out there in this weather.
Camping is great, though. No noisy braggarts
when bro said "hello" in the woods the other guy turned around and said "Not today satan" lmfao
Honestly, that’s the only correct response after midnight in the woods
Hahahahahhaha like hes the one to get away from bros sleeping like a baby in the middle of the night pitch black like nothings wrong hahahha i wouldnt want to talk to him either
Would’ve been hilarious is that guy also posted his video here. Both freaked tf out by each other 😂
@arlenchang8135 HAHAHA EPIC
Or he asked "have you seen the muffin man"?
“Street racers” shows the shittiest car going 20 mph 😂😂
Ong😂
British 2 litres, remapped, with exhaust squeakies. They have to go slow so you can admire them as they drive home to their ma
@OopsWhatever😂😂😂
dead internet theory
Heyyy, a Fiat Punto isn't that bad!
My takeaway from this video; don’t go stealth camping in the UK, specifically
Brits allowed their government to take their guns away. So we have videos like these. Really sad....
@samkeefe7479 Do you think Kat ever thought about Jorge's size? I know she and Carter were close, but Jorge is Jorge after all.
@NightmRE_ZZZ If the government really 'took our guns,' then what on earth have I been shooting targets, clay pigeons, and pheasants with?
@adidasfan360huh?
to be fair, id say its probably more dangerous in the US where you can be held at gun point. as a brit, id way rather fight off a knife attacker than be shot at XD
I’m going to be honest, if I was walking through the woods and accidentally came across some dude minding his own business camping and I woke up them up, I’d be too embarrassed to reply and just walk off lmao
My thoughts exactly lmao. I can totally understand how creepy itd be from one perspective, while being totally innocuous from another
lol fr, I'd say "I'm sorry" and quickly move along
The dude with the flashlight was likely terrified too lol
I feel like when out in the woods it’s important to sound confident in your voice while also assuring the individual that you’re not there for malicious intent, perhaps a “I’m stealth camping, so I’m harmless if you are mate” could be enough to deescalate the situation, I know I would have 😅
"Im all alone in this parking lot something bad could happen I have to move"
*Drives into deep secluded woods"
Smart guy
Exactly 😂
He is the guy in horror movies
Bro has negative survival instincts
Wouldn't the woods be alot safer though? Of course with hindsight it wasn't but still.
@PutinGadkari cameraman never dies
bro was scared of ppl playing music and racing but goes down a dirt road for peace and comfort
Isolated area or hood, neither is a good choice tbh
Rap music has never been a red flag to me, just putting that out there..
Yeah tbh being in the hood is safer than an isolated rural area. In an urban area you can have a relatively quick response from police, (compared to being in fucking no where) also there’s usually locations within urban areas locals know are for the homeless and will leave alone.
Woman: "Why are there kids playing in the cemetery at night?"
Kids: "Why is there a woman camping in the cemetery at night?"
Me: "Why is ANYBODY in the cemetery at night?!"
True
The kids thought she was a ghost 100%
@VVՏ A witch doing spells in the fire
Shes stepping on the Kids heads like dirt over their head but like who told her to step on it that why theyre Screamin 😢
First, that cemetery isnt abandoned. The grass is kept up. Secondly, I grew up next to a cemetery borderng our yards that was from the late 1700s. "I do not want them to see me where Im going" makes a camping fire.
The LAST thing you want to do in the middle of the night if there are kids or other people you are afraid of bothering you is to light a fire. Sheesh.
I shook my head when she did that lol
also, why are kids in the middle of the night more scary than adults? I think maybe they aren't to be expected and can be truly unpredictable.
Ye, the fire was a stupid idea.
Seriously. I’ve seen The Hunger Games and know how this ends.
Idiots 😂😂😂😂
I didn't see any kids in video did I miss them, or since it was dark out they blend in
I'm not trying to blame the last girl or anything but why on earth would you start a fire and basically send out smoke signals and light to people who are screaming in a cemetery at night
Did I miss seeing the kids in the video, or are they blending in since it was dark
@melissagrant4178 Nah they are really hard to see on camera so you didn't miss anything
Who goes camping in a cemetery period?
@butterfly2218 should be about as safe a place as one could find to camp. Generally, there aren't kids playing and folks out for midnight walks in cemetaries. 😂
You look like marlin Monroe.
To be honest, leaving yourself exposed to strangers like that is pretty risky and no one should do that
Right? I especially couldn't believe Daniel in the 3rd video wasn't sleeping in his car, or even a tent. He had virtually nothing between himself and the lantern guy (or wild animals, for that matter), so he's lucky the dude just turned away and left, leaving him time to get out of there.
Wow really?!
@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRoseyeah I can’t believe he just stayed under the covers and ‘stayed calm’ he would be dead if that man had bad intent.
It would be quite fun but i agree id be a bit too on edge especially alone id definately have a weapon on hand but if i had to sleep in a vehicle all the time id try sleep daytime hours and be awake at night
@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRoseim not sure he had been seen because his tent was so descreet low profile and its green all i can think is he was seen earlier and was being watched
dude with the light in the woods was clearly just a dog walker, soon as they heard "hello" they turned like "naaah"
Agreed, I walk my dog at night with lots of lights. I see some creeper camping in the woods by himself, Ima gtfo!
Right. Guy was like "is that a tent?" then someone yells out hello. I couldn't bug out fast enough.
Bro really said, nah this parking lot in a neighborhood is too dangerous, better go out into the dark empty wilderness!
I live here, it's much safer in the wilderness.
@WisteriatheFirstwhere is here?
Beginning of a horror movie. 😂
@WisteriatheFirst We didn’t watch the same clip then
These people have negative survival skills.
They don't even touch grass when they go out to touch grass. They might as well have just went to the zoo.
@ONEMOREMOSHPIT They probably just search for a picture of someone touching grass & think that’s all they need to know about it.
Its called libtards who think everything is a utopia in their society.
I couldn't agree more. They are way too trusting. I think if you're going to be doing any form of camping you should have at least a knife or even better a firearm.
If you're scared of people walking around just stay home ffs They act like they own the place
Kids playing around the cemetery at night is actually kind of normal.Sleeping in one by yourself is the weird thing.
Oh, the kids 100% thought she was a ghost btw. Surpised no one has said this. Youre with your friends in a cemetery and you see a pale skinned woman walking around at midnight? Absolutely a ghost... 👻
I would be scared to death to see her
Only if the cemetery is nearby their houses . Otherwise is not normal at all
Who lets their kids out at night?
She has no survival instinct
Occam's Razor is your best friend in these. Someone was walking their dog, saw a tent, and wondered if it had been left behind. They realized there was a person in there and were too embarrassed to respond.
Imagine being attacked with bricks in the middle of nowhere at night and your first reaction is to get out and film, rather than immediately drive away
Boomer moment
Exactly my thoughts.
@OHHHHUSBANT🍼🍼
@OHHHHUSBANT A bit younger than that. LOL
This is how they make their money
"I don't want anyone to know I'm here", proceeds to light a fire. Girl didn't read enough fantasy books growing up 😂
Next move: yell “is anyone out there?” into the void
She gonna complain about the ash on her tomato's whenever someone puts it out smh
This is what men mean when we say women need us to protect them
No women just seem to lack most common instincts or common sense
@petepeterson5917 Put it out, you fools! Put it out!
Why the hell would you go to the poorest, most crime-ridden town in your country to stealth camp??
And then proceeds to go into a secluded place in the woods as the better option 😭
Probably for the thrill
@AchooMaster It’s still very idiotic.
I mean, play stupid games... Some people have to do this shit, and it really pisses me off when privileged shitbags have hobbies like this.
@Julianus_Magnus stealth camping in general is a bit idiotic and dangerous, let's be real, you'd not be doing it if you didn't enjoy the thrill.
2:56 one word I would NEVER use to describe a guy like this is harmless, they never are, they always have some form of bad intentions
The guy who was walking his dog near "Daniel" definitely will have a skinwalker story for reddit 😂
Why is Daniel is quotes??
And there I was, in the middle of nowhere in the woods. And this thing, almost humanoid, which was somehow hidding inside an abandoned van, it actually SPOKE to me in a growley, animal voice. I said f this!
@kainlives7958 who knows if that's his real name, he's a skinwalker.
@365popi 🤣yes ... dude his hello was so high pitched I would have been so scared hearing it in the middle of the nights in the woods
@AlanaBananaCanada he set out to camp at night in the middle of the woods, completely alone. This guy is the real menace. We just fell for his lure POV
“There’s two bricks… our window is smashed. So, no. I don’t recommend this place to stop.” LMAO??! Love the British dryness.
I doubt they were trying to sneak up on Daniel. If they were they probably wouldn't be pointing a floodlight at him in the dark woods.
Right lol sometimes these scripts feel borderline ai. I mean I don't think this channel would do that, but cmon.
@ONEMOREMOSHPIT cry more
probably a land owner out checking on who the guy in the woods he saw earlier was.. hence the dog and huge flashlight, is wierd though to watch him sleep that long and not even talk to him about it.. like if a land owner cares that much to go find him why not even say hello. Imagine walking your dog at night enjoying the quiet when some random dude parked off the walking trail starts yelling hi at you out of his creepy dark van😂😂
Id turn around too lol
And the 2nd one, from a tent when it's too cold to camp out!!! Run!!!
The first stealth camper just encountered a random homeless guy.
Yeah that was clearly some tweaker doing tweaker shit.
Or a man looking for anonymous s@x. Empty parking lots are notorious for hookups.
@T@TimTebonerYes, looked harmless to me. Still if you are afraid, just drive away. No need to stay there and wait until something unpredictable happens.
He probably was high or mentally ill. Seemed like he was as responding to internal stimuli.
10:00 imagine watching another video about a guy’s terrifying experience of walking around the woods at night and hearing a “hello” from the darkness 😂
I was thinking the same thing 😂
That “hello” has more horror energy than a whole Netflix series
he probably got more scared and didnt answer and turned off his flashlight to not get spotted of sum
"do you know how to get to Hell's Canyon?"
“Stealth Camping, “ they just call it homeless in California
Basically my comment also😂🤣😂 homeless is now called stealth camping
Accurate, but with 10% more GoPro footage and dramatic music
Well-said! 👍
The bricks thrown at the van seems to me like a group of teenagers trying to cause trouble.
4:31 "and a group of street racers speeding"
Car going 25 mph 😂
It's incredible how timid some people are. That car would be doing the speed limit in a school zone, but apparently noisy car = OUT OF CONTROL GANGMEMBERS!!!
Fr 😂
Also, I'm not a car expert but that car: A. looks so British and B. doesn't look like it can do racer speeding, lmao.
Just revving the shit out of it😂😂
@Saturn57It definitely can, not sure why the narrator was saying that it was speeding though lol.
Kia’s are famous for being easy to steal. Leaving your Kia out in an empty parking lot overnight is basically asking for trouble
That’s only in the US. Engine immobilizer devices are mandatory in the EU and most other parts of the world.
@patrickcameron2950well it was in the US
My Optima has a massive hole around the ignition switch. Coupled with the fact I've found broken glass on the floor makes me almost certain at some point it was stolen and then returned back to its owner.
Kia’s? Kia’s what are easy to steal?
Stealth camping in a Kia is brave. That’s basically shouting “Please steal me” in car language
"A series of red flags began to appear... Like, blaring gangsta rap from their speakers."
😅🤣😅🤣
As opposed to a perfectly acceptable classical music blaring in the forest.
so dumb bro and the street racing... one car going moderately fast for a few seconds... lmao
That'd be a warning sign for me. Only ever heard that crap in bad neighborhoods.
@23345staryehh sure buddy.
I will never understand why people choose to put themselves into situations like these.
For the thrill I'd imagine. Usually stealth camping is all fine though if you're doing it smart
Choices... and motivated by what is happening in their life.
Camping isn’t bad. But this is essentially homeless simulator.
Why do people jump off cliffs with parachutes? Why do people hang from really tall buildings by their fingertips and with no safety equipment?
What going camping lol? yeah crazy people! should just stay indoors forever
"Why would anyone attack an elderly couple out of nowhere and then leave without gaining anything from it?"
Chavs mate.
Yeah, pretty much every mentally challenged teenager
Given that there was more than one van parked there at the time, I wonder if someone mistook them for Travellers and tried to scare them off
@lindsey12345I feel like they assumed it was a traveler caravan, people can be such shit.
Sounds reasonable re travellers
Yah that was really messed up - I mean they just did it to be assholes...
I would have jumped (literally) and blurted some cuss, that would be an insane scare.
Who tf would "camp" in a McDonald's parking lot?
Sees cemetery from 1800s and sets camping gear down. “Yep this is the spot”. 😂
Cemetarys are a+ for stealth camping free water and sometimes even electricity and you can scare the fk out of people walking by if youre smart about it.
And “let’s make a fire”
whole thing made my balls shrink inside my body I'm basically a enuch now
Dead people don't actually do anything except decompose.
@Anthrazith They are a resting place. Not a place for people to stay at.
Stealth camping are those kids that cover themselves with a blanket and say, "you can't see me."
And apparently it still works, because people keep surviving the dumbest situations
its why I dont put sunshades up anymore. its a dead giveaway someones sleeping in a car.
the guy who camps behind signs and in a pallet trailer (whatever his name is) is a real stealth camper.
Sleeping in a parking lot is not stealth camping. That's called sleeping in your car.
😂 exactly 💯😅
Stealth camping in a Walmart lot: because nothing says “off-grid adventure” like a view of shopping carts and oil stains
😂😂😂@Nightmarevault1205
Her wanting to camp alone in the cemetery is what scares me.
Hello everyone! It is me Dan from this video! It is great seeing all your comments, yes I know I'm a fool! Glad people have enjoyed my little adventure though!
🤗
@Misunderstood__Aries 😂
glad youre safe man, even if you did make a foolish decision me and probably a lot of other people are glad youre safe and probably learned from that experience!
Be more careful next time dude
Dan you survived bricks, strangers, and the comment section-true legend
I'd day Daniel was the scary one lol. You're walking your dog in the woods at night and it finds something, you try to shine your light through the brush and a random voice from the darkness says "Hello". Yeah I'd probably disappear without saying a word too...
they spooked each other....😆
@th-sd6ni Most likely. I'd sh*t my pants if I was the dog walker. Random "Hello" from the dark would be crazy
That’s not just a red flag. That’s the whole parade
Walking the dog in the middle of nowhere lol
@swordguy1243 same with person that sleep at middle of nothing,
Last woman is crazy for choosing an abandoned cemetery to stealth camp. That's usually a prime spot for trouble makers to hang out.
Edit: Also wtf! She's already on edge about some random people potentially following her and she still decide to start a campfire in the dark!?
Idk if I'm blind or smth but I didn't see anyone in her footage, and "screams" sound like animal noises to me tbh
Yeah first thing I thought. Camping alone as a woman is already dangerous enough, now she's doing it in a cemetery after dark and then she starts a camp fire after she knows people are following her. Does this chick have zero common sense?
@ThePhunkyPhunky Man trust me when I say this that was hundred percent an animal voice
I was in my car for awhile and I parked around the corner from an FBI field office.
Air horn. Scares the hell out of anything and anyone. I highly recommend carrying one in situations where you are alone, because nearby witnesses will also be able to hear you!!!
I will never understand why people go to the shittiest places in the pitch dark by themselves. This is how people get killed.
No it's just their government has taught them that certain immigrants aren't to be feared so then they get abused by them
Views man
Sweet jeebus some of you must be scared of your own shadows.
@darkswordsman117facts
If I was gonna make my car look like it was abandoned in a parking lot, I'd at least pack heat lol 😂
@Unjust1 What part of "Shall not be infringed" do you not understand?
The last one just confuses me. They were 100% aware of her presence and were definitely fucking with her.
Also they didn't do anything apart from make noises which to be honest I'd probably have done as a teenager.
Probably just animal sounds. Check out how hogs, foxes and other forest animals sound.
What's confusing? Teens just making noises in a spooky place to mess with someone. Her reaction like they were gonna hunt her down was more confusing.
That wasn’t a camping trip. That was a psychological thriller.
Could be animal noises and not kids if its in the forest
17:18 "I do not like being around people in the middle of a forest when it's dark out" THEN DON'T GO IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOREST WHEN IT'S DARK OUT
Flashlight guy was clearly just a curious walker that spotted high end equipment that couldn’t be a homeless person.
The hello probably scared him.
yeah I imagine the person was pretty scared. just taking a walk with your dog, you see some stuff on the ground in the distance and suddenly someone says hello.
I thought some bloke just was just testing anew flashlight and all of a sudden a hello!? I’d turn it off and hide to lol
Honestly yea probably. But am I the only one that noticed the silhouette looked like a woman's one?
@river_wentmissing so what?
True, but a 2am woodland dog walk lol, maybe he cant sleep i suppose.
✍🏻 don’t ✍🏻 go ✍🏻 stealth ✍🏻 camping ✍🏻 got it
So the guy in the sleeping bag in the woods heard twigs breaking saw a light pointed at him and his strategy was to hide under the blanket and keep calm? Man’s got the survival skills of a potato. If that person had bad intent he would’ve been dead.
all these people are scared of there own shadow
Hilarious comment, OP!😅😅
Potato confirmed MVP of stealth camping: silent, motionless, zero confrontation
"if"
12:36 DRIVE AWAAAAAY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OMG
How stupid you have to be to go to sleep in a car so you can see for yourself if a city known for being extremely dangerous is in fact dangerous?! 🤦🏻♀️
Very
To be fair it seems like most of these are fake for views lol
Stupid for the views duh
@almond3066or just mentally ill for the first guy tbh
+7/10
I ordered a pizza, i just got paid, and chilling scares uploaded. Life is good.
Heck yeah, great combo!!! I love both as well!!
You got paid on a Wednesday? What job pays on a Wednesday?
@Lawrence_Talbot todays the 30th bud, some people get paid on the 15th and 30th.
@Lawrence_Talbot some banks allow early payment on Wednsdays before Fridays
@Lawrence_Talbot the 30th is the end of the month. You forget about welfare, disability or pensioners.
Remember in the horror movies when people make dumb decisions and don't make it?
Yup that's the girl in the last video with a survival instinct of a cucumber😂
Cars blasting music and street racing? Bro, that's every night in Philly.
And Philly is a shithole
🚩 Red flags!
He wound up going somewhere worst might have been safer in the other place
Philly: where every parking lot doubles as a Fast & Furious audition
Hence the high crime there.
Man. The guy standing beside the van was SO SCARY.
It made me soil myself!
Some random guy standing outside a vehicle......OOOOOO soooo scawwwwy. (eye roll) Jesus christ, pretentious much?
Meh. Probably just a zombed-out druggie who didn't know what planet he was on.
@th-sd6nityped out “eye roll” holy cornball😭✌🏿 your so tuff and cool
@jackpotttttt😂😂😂
@Puddleglum2000 How experimental are the women from there?
no it is not illegal to sleep outside, stop lying
It's not really illegal, it's a civil offense, so if caught they can ask you to move. They cannot charge you with anything unless you do not comply with a police order to move, or are trespassing on private land.
It’s illegal to camp in the uk??
@EggEnjoyerin most parts of Europe it’s illegal to camp in the Forrest or even sleep in your car ( some exceptions)
2:40 he’s high looking to sleep and get warm
Love these videos . Bruhh said ''A group of street racers speeding down the road '' all I seen was one car not even speeding
“Group of racers” = one dude with a muffler and a Bluetooth speaker blasting bass
Bruhs offended isn't he? Lmao
@petram8050 blaring gangstah music 🤓
Exactly my thoughts but except for these old folks 11:07
It's that natural selection urge
Not even close
How is camping even remotely the same thing as cave diving lmao
Exactly. Same death wish, just different flavor: moss vs. abyss
"gangster rap" proceeds to show video of man vibing to music on the road. like bro what
Trust lol thats just essex man smh
They're playing gangster rap....CALLL THE POLICE AND HIDE!!!!
Nice chest
Most of the world associates rap with crime
Wonder why? Most rap is about drugs and killing people, played by people who commit the most crime
The last girl has literally 0 survival instinct.
She's a 🤡
That girl is crazy! Middle of the night and she's in a cemetery 😩😩😩
Cemetery at night? Nah. She wasn’t camping-she was auditioning for her own horror short.
When you consider blaring music and speeding cars sketchy, you really must have been sheltered lol
Coming from the city (montreal)... it depends on what kind of music is bring blared out and what time of night. Blasting gangster rap at 2 am is "hoodlum" behavior here in montreal.
@aliceDartsive heard montreal is beautiful
@aliceDartshehe hoodlum 😂
There isn’t a nice area in the world where people are blasting loud music or street racing. If those are common in your area I guarantee crime is also high
@CommanderTK9091bingo
The last one story could be a fear to fathom game
This is the moment Walter White became feartofathomberg
Yeah it felt like something straight out of a horror film.
Bro just pitched the next indie horror hit and he’s not wrong. “Fear to Fathom: Cemetery Camper Edition”
People, put 3M security film on your windows. They can bust the window all to pieces, but it won't let them in.
4:36 it sounds like he just didn't know how to shift to the next gear i doubt they were racing lmfao
And he looked like he was going max 30mph, certainly not race speed
@Freddrickmore like 20 😅
Bro thought he was in Fast & Furious but forgot the car was still in neutral.
And? He didn't film the entire time he was in that lot lmao. Others could have went by speeding or racing.
Blaring gangster rap on a bicycle that’s just a normal day in the neighborhood. I grew up in. 😂
lol, same... I wouldn't stealth camp in my old neighborhood, though.
fr, in an empty parking lot. like come one. red flag? really…
that and the lady starting a fire after believing she’s being followed. like come on.
I can relate. Where are you from?
that neighborhood was probably the most safe place for that guy to call the night.
I used to stealth camp when I was a homeless junkie
Imagine walking your dog and some creep is calling at you from the bushes
Who the FFF.... starts a FIRE in a cemetery AFTER being seen by a bunch of kids/people while STEALTH camping...
5:38 i think the person was arrested for criminal damage to this man’s van soon after that
Anyone who camps like this is crazy as hell not carrying a firearm.
Its like the getto equivalent of setting up in the woods covered in blood and raw meat
Imagine camping in a graveyard and expecting it just to be like any other regular night.
People who go stealth camping voluntarily are just roleplaying being homeless
"let me drive to the middle of the woods so no one bothers me"
famous last words.
You either come back with peace and footage... or not at all. There’s no in between.
It's been a while since he did a camping encounters video. Well done!
Right? Been waiting to hear someone whisper “hello” from the woods again. Worth the wait
Selfish and dumb.. a fantastic combo 😅
Zero common sense but then again women aren’t known for their thinking skills
she wanted a fake spooky video for views. how do people not get this?
@itchiegamesfr they sound like royalty free coyote screams
Nah, the dead are just very elderly people. I’m sure they’d love visitors.
Looks like the UK is not the best place to go stealth camping 😭😭
General camping is fine, we do it every summer in the UK. But camping out in Urban areas is usually a big no no.
The UK doesn't have real woods Americans would be shocked to see how miniscule the woods in the UK are to here
Those are not kids in the last story, those are clearly animals. Maybe coyotes? Depends on where she is, but they're clearly animal vocalizations
It’s in my city (Vancouver) we have coyotes but the cemetery isn’t really close to any forest or woods, it’s sitting in the middle of the city but who knows
The UK: "We banned guns, we're safer than the US!"
Also the UK:
Yeah, because dying by machete or acid attack gives them peace of mind, but ironically they still haven't learned you cant "ban" guns
0:39 Always nice to see my boy Steve. Hunker Down, people.
Remeber your step 2 folks
It doesn’t get any better than this
Hello. As a mobile contractor, I’m on the road camping 80% of the time. I highly suggest that before even thinking about stealth camping, you work on your rig's engine transmission, suspension tires and wheels, brakes external locks, windowless van, if not tinted windows, and safety weapon.
This is the most organized stealth camper I’ve ever seen. Man’s rolling like Batman in a van. Respect
A rifle and a side piece
Depends on the country, firearms are not easily obtained in some countries
@Nightmarevault1205😂😂
@arbjful I’m sure I’m sure what about non-lethal pepper ball guns
Stealth camping is so ridiculously stupid to do, honestly.
Stealth camping is awesome, none of these are stealth though, the third lady lit a fire!
it’s fun if u aren’t dumb and know where to camp
3:40 George R.R. Martin doin’ literally anything but writing The Winds of Winter…
Imagine going for a peaceful walk with your dog in the bushes just after dark and some jackass decides to yell out "hello!"
And nothing else...
oh yeah lets stealth camp. STARTS FIRE
5:13 best ASMR ever
I just had the same thought rewinded it and everything 😂
@ni6-e7y LOL
I was thinking the camping guy was snoring which caused flashlight guy to become aware of his presence and they scared each other😂😂😂
@ that's exactly what I was thinking too😂
Now imagine both of you are filming for RUclips shorts. Two creepers passing in the night. One whispering hello, the other whispering sponsored by Raycon
@Nightmarevault1205😂😂 the lore😮😂
I feel so bad for Ellie and Graham, can’t believe those guys would target an elderly couple and throw bricks at their van and running away
I can't believe they got out of their van to look. I also can't believe they stuck around instead of leaving.
How would they know it was an elderly couple?
@DGrey2the adult diapers
They aren’t THAT old.
How's anyone walking up supposed to know they are older 😂😂
Bro asking why anyone would be in the woods at night while he’s literally in the woods at night 🤣
Gangster rap coming from a vehicle.... is a bicycle. Street racers speeding along the road.... going 35mph. LOL
Lmfao
